Fun holiday mystery

Nice holiday mystery with magic, friendship and a little romance. Perfect for reading surrounded by holiday decorations, (nothing dark or graphic) and a feel-good ending. I hope to see more Humbug gang stories.

Perfect Christmas Story! 🎄

I was absolutely thrilled to find this book series. Not only is it choc full of Christmas but actual magic as well! I struggle to find festive themed books every year as so many of them are tinged with sadness or borderline porn. If you are looking for a cozy, festive, magical Christmas story, look no further! This writer and narrator make a terrific team.

I really enjoyed the writing style and the narration. I especially love the voice she did for Mrs. Claus. I also love that she was heavily featured and Santa was only spoken about. The world building is incredibly magical and the reason why Aurora is there is very creative and clever. I am not usually partial to talking animal companions but Nutty was a very cute and not overdone addition to this tale. The romantic aspect was def my favorite and I enjoyed trying to decipher the mystery along with the other characters. I would certainly live in Holiday Haven if given the choice!

I strongly recommend this book to anyone looking for a modern, magical Christmas story. This book will not disappoint!

Oh What Fun it is!!!

You can’t ever go wrong with a collaboration between Bella Falls and Johanna Parker. What a wonderful gift for the holidays! I waited until Christmas was only days away to listen and boy, did it ever set-up the festive and warm cheer. We’ve had warm, sunny, and dry weather and I wasn’t feeling the spirit. Listening to this book changed that. Excellent.

Loved it

Bella Falls has crafted a sweet and wonderful holiday story. It’s filled with well developed characters who quickly seem to be friends. Johanna Parker gave a stellar performance as she brought it all together and to life. I’ve already purchased the next book/audiobook in the wonderful story. I highly recommend this to cozy paranormal fans.

Cute Holiday Story

This was a lovely holiday story, as another reviewer said- if you like Hallmark movies- this is for you! I like the premise of the story and the characters and the relationships between them. The only thing I am less than excited about is the narrator. At first I thought maybe she spoke English as a second language as I could not place the accent or "lilt" of her speech. I looked her up on google- it seems she is well regarded... I read that she is known for her southern accent- which is when I realized that is what she was using for this book- her version of a southern accent. As a southerner - I have to admit it's not the best. And speaking of other reviewers- someone said they were not a fan of her "sing-song" cadence- and I have to agree, Maybe the accent would sound better without the sing-songiness?

Good story/Odd vocal choices

Interesting story. I would love to find out more about the characters. But the narrator had an odd habit of raising the tone of her voice up at the end of every sentence. I found that a little offputting, Overall, I did enjoy it.
