About this listen

How perfect is too perfect?

Ross Ransome is at the top of his profession; one of the most successful, and certainly one of the richest, plastic surgeons in the business. Such a man would expect his wife to be perfect - and why not? After all, he has spent enough hours in surgery to get her that way. But when his wife falls ill she turns her back on conventional medicine, and her arid marriage, and seeks help from the world of alternative medicine and a charismatic therapist who promises not just medical salvation. I like Peter James's novels and devour each Roy Grace story as it is published. However this one has risen to the top of the heap- I couldn't stop listening! Lots of themes: medicine, domestic violence, relationships, etc.
I highly recommend this book for your reading pleasure.

a gripping story, masterfully told

definitely some tense moments but the overall outcome was a little predicable. Beautifully narrated, possibly the kids voices a little high pitched but still well read

Good book!

Really impressed with the narrators ability to change her voice for each character. Really did sound like a different person.

As for the story brilliant as usual.

Brilliant Narration.

This book was semi interesting, but not the best. The narrators various voices were horrible, especially the childs whiny loud voice. It grated on my nerves. Can't reccomend this one.

The narrator ruined this one for me
