About this listen

A dark secret and a deadly score to settle.

In 1997 teenager Sophie White and her three girlfriends decide they want to lose their virginity before summer is over.

Roping in her childhood buddy Gareth and his mates, Sophie holds a party to get the deed over and done with, but the night doesn’t end as planned.

Twenty years later, the group are brought back together when Gareth is killed in a car accident and Sophie begins receiving threatening messages. It seems the party wasn’t as innocent as everyone thought, and now someone wants payback.

A gripping, highly addictive game of cat and mouse where the past comes back with vengeance. Perfect for the fans of Kimberley Chambers, Emma Tallon and Jessie Keane.

Good listen

I enjoyed the book but I don't like figuring it out on my own long before the book ends. I thought I knew who the "villian" of the story was but then I realized I was wrong & quickly realized who it really was. But I love listening to Georgia Maguire narrator, that made it a really nice book also. It is worth the listen but if you're a mystery buff you might figure it out too.

It was an interesting read! Very good.

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it. I get bored with some books easily and this book kept the story moving fast - very good.

Didn't see the end coming!

I really enjoyed this book. The back story/plot was something I've never heard before. I did NOT see the end coming. I was fairly sure I knew 50/50 how it would end but I was blindsided. I LOVED IT!

sadly predictable

It is well written, good character flashbacks, cliched coming of age pact, sadly predictable ending and good narration.

Engaging story

The "shocking reveal" won't be a surprise to fans of the genre, but still a decent story. The characters are developed, and going back and forth from the past and present keeps adding more to the plot.

Fairly entertaining but predictable

This was fine for what I wanted. A fairly simple mystery to listen to while I do chores. I figured out the plot early on and the ending made me wonder if any of them had any common sense. (Can’t elaborate without spoilers.) So, I enjoyed it as a plus listen, but I wouldn’t spend a credit on it.

Didn't want to put it down

Catches your attention with a very plausible scenario of what can go wrong with teenager's "great ideas".

Ok but very predictable

Just didn’t do it for me. If I had used a credit I would have been returning this book. It was extremely predictable and the main character continually failed to see the glaringly obvious. I enjoy more suspense without the solution being handed to me on a platter half way through the book.
