About this listen

Just when I think my life can't get any weirder, a mysterious stranger comes to the club and offers me a crap-ton of cash to pose as his boyfriend for ninety days.

The job sounds simple enough. Evan is as rich as he is hot, and he says he doesn't expect anything from me other than my acting skills. If we can pull it off and fool his friends and family, he gets his inheritance. I get a new wardrobe, a huge payout, and a chance to see how the other half lives.

But as time goes on and I find myself becoming more involved in Evan's world, I realize things aren't always as they seem.

On the outside, Evan is a buttoned-up, boring businessman. But when he starts receiving letters threatening not only himself but also me, I find out who he truly is.

Ruthless. Possessive. And the only person who's ever made me feel seen.

Nick and Evan's story is a fake relationship with benefits romance between a wealthy business mogul and a younger stripper with a heart of gold. Expect lots of heat, tons of banter, and all the feels as these two men realize that sometimes opposites really do attract. It is the second book in the exciting new Crimson Club series but can be enjoyed as a standalone.

9/10 I highly recommend! This book is sweet and easy to read! I hope there’s a series of spin-offs! I cannot wait to read more!

Love the MCs, Nick is so funny, minimum drama, great narration.
My only criticism is that I would have loved to see Nicky’s problems dealt more seriously and in depth.

Really Enjoy this book

Great story. I love Willow Dixon and the stories she writes. This is book two and is as awesome a listen as book one. This series has a wonderful group of dancers that have become a family. I can't wait to hear who's up next and how they find love. The narration is great. Alexander Cendese and Aiden Snow did an amazing job bringing this story and all of the characters in it to life. great pair!!

Not so "fake" dating

Holy moley Batman!!

I’m calling it now- this is by far the best of the series and i just started. I freaking love Nick so damn much. I pretty sure he just became the best dude I’ve ever read. He is soft and warm and authentic in his skin. I just want to hug him and never let him go.

Evan- he is stunning- enough said.

I guess I’ll accept that Valdo and Emily make a great match. I low key wanted Vlado to fall head over heels with the cutes rocker twink - but alado- twas not to be.

Anywho- 10/10 please go read it and enjoy! I love this book so so much.

I love the fake relationship trope and this was so perfect! I’m going to enjoy listening to this again and again, whenever I finish something really emotional or dark and need something to bring my mood up, or when I just need something happy and fun because life has me stressed. Pretty low angst, NOT formulaic, and while I had a favorite narrator between the two, I enjoyed listening to both and they both did great!

New favorite feel-good story!

These two were so cute together!!! I loved the finally got the opportunity to be with someone who saw him for who he was and didn’t have to make him feel less than.
Evan had so much patience and love for him!!! I absolutely adored these two so much but the voice actors were AMAZING bringing these two to life! Ugh! I read this series first and I’m so glad I’m getting to listen to them now.

I love this series

Revisited on audio and it was fantastic!
I loved Nick and Evan's story! I was so invested in them right from the start and kept turning pages quickly, eager to keep reading. Nick was a fabulous character! I was worried he was going to just be too much for me when we first meet him, but he was just perfect. He was so full of life, was not afraid to speak his mind, was strong and fierce, and radiated energy. He meets Evan at the club, uptight millionaire businessman, and enters into an arrangement with him that intrigued me from the start. Evan needed to relax and live a little. Nick needed someone to truly love him for who he was. It was a match made in heaven. As these two put on a show for everyone else, they slowly fell in love. I adored how truly captivated Evan was with Nick and let him truly be himself and loved him for it completely. Their banter was spot on, their connection was strong, and they were fire between the sheets. Add in Evan's best friend Vlado, his sister Emily, and Nick's friends from the club and we get such a well rounded and enjoyable story. There was even a bit of mystery and non-relationship drama thrown in that moved the story along nicely. Really liked this one!
