The star of this audiobook is the narration. Fantastic range of accents and tone - i wish Chris O’Dawd had more on audible. The story is good too, one of the shorter ones of Roald Dahl, some of the language is (typically Roald Dahl) undesirable, if I could change anything it would be to remove some of the name calling etc. I wish there was more morale to the story as a whole too, but it’s cute and there is adventure and good speed to it.

Loved it and Roy from the IT crowd. Perfect combo! I originally saw the film adaption, but needed a new bed time book (to calm my mind). This was perfect, except for a few loud moments from the farmers haha! The book is more soothing and the narrator keeps it easy to follow by doing different voices. I thoroughly enjoy the book. Sad that it is so shirt though!

this was a very good story and the narrator was exceptional. It was however very disturbing and disappointing that the Lord's name was used in vain. I will not be purchasing any more of Roald Dahl's books because of this.
