Publisher's summary

In the college town of Morganville, vampires and humans have learned to live in relative peace. Still, students like Claire Danvers know that after dark, studying can take a backseat to staying alive. But the tenuous good-neighbor policy is really turned on its head with the arrival of Mr. Bishop. Bad to the bone, the ancient old-school vampire cares nothing about harmony. Staying at the top of the food chain is enough. What he wants from the town's living and dead is unthinkably sinister. It's only at a formal ball attended by vampires and their human dates that Claire realizes Bishop's plan---and the elaborately evil trap he's set for the warm-blooded souls of Morganville.

Feast of Fools: The Morganville Vampires, Book 4

Feast of Fools: The Morganville Vampires, Book 4 There is so much more suspense and violence in this book.I love ❤️ that it’s a book for adult readers. The ending was fabulous so glad I do not have to wait for book 📕 4, I can't wait to see how Claire's decision will affect them all. I recommend this book & audible book 📕for anyone interested in vampires..🧛‍♀️ Now onto book 5, loved audible-book I purchase d the whole set after I listen to books 1-3 and read the kindle books..

Can't sleep must continue on!

Loving this series, it is like the link between YA and the adult novel genres. The characters are more realistic than most of the books in these categories.

Start from Glass houses and catch up!

Will peace & harmony be thrown out the window?

There's a new sheriff in town. Will he end all that Emily has tried to achieve; a place where both humans and vampires can co-exist?

Emily's father, Bishop, comes into town and upends all sense of order in Morganville. He is old-school and only cares about staying at the top of the food chain.

A formal ball reveals Bishop's true plans. And, Mernin, who happened to stab Bishop at the ball (to test his blood in the lab) realizes that Bishop's blood is the cure for the disease that is turning vampires insane and eventually killing them.

After a free-for-all at the ball, Bishop and his minions destroy all blood supplies and start burning down the town.

The town, humans and vampires, unites to take arms against Bishop. Will they win?

If interested in vamp stories it's an unique twist

Would you try another book from Rachel Caine and/or Cynthia Holloway?

Yes. I have to admit though that because I had just finished two other vampire series books where the vampires were essentially good, it was tough to adjust to a series where they treated humans so poorly.

What other book might you compare Feast of Fools to and why?

I would only compare to other books on the series.

Which scene was your favorite?

Bishops welcome party

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

It would need to have content from more than one book on the series, but yes.

Any additional comments?

It would be nice of the books number in the series was on the title. There seemed to be inconsistencies at times but nothing to make me put it down .

i Really love Myrnin, he’s one cool
cat! 😻
the only thing that realllllllllly bugs me about this book is that, in the last one, Jason SHOT Shane. and Now, in This book, Jason STABBED Shane. ?!?!!
i seriously Hate when authors pull this crap. like we’re all too stupid to remember things~ Important, Main Event~ things, from one book to the next. grr. argh. 😠

Well written, but

I really like these books, but I wish they didn’t have so much sexual content. I would recommend this to any teen except for that.

Claire has found herself in an important position among humans in the vampire town Morgansville. In this book, the town is faced with a visit from a powerful and ruthless vampire from outside of town. They have to find a way to preserve they town from his tyranny.

There are some bad words too.
