Critic reviews

"The story is engaging and the pacing is on the money. Reader Diane Venora performs real-life Manhattan prosecutor Fairstein's gritty prose quite well." ( Library Journal)

Final Jeopardy is a so-so who-dun-it. I figured out the culprit as soon as the character was introduced (who wouldn't?). I wouldn't waste my time with this series again. For an assistant district attorney she sure has no instincts. Just really disaponting all around.

Female DA with NO intuition

This wasn't up to Linda Fairstein's usual standards. It wasn't nearly as exciting as most of her books.
