Thoreau Jones, 15, has had a terrible life since his older brother left Gray Shadows. I read this book long before it was made into sn audiobook and loved it but I have to sat the narrators do a great job of bringing each character to life. they also do an amazing job giving each character their own voice and personality which isn't always done well but in this series it is done masterfully.

I own the Ebook version, but read it on Wattpad first..

Although this is a standalone book, being able to read about Thoreau first in the Posy Series (highly recommended) makes it much more precious to me, as you can read his story form another character's perspective.

If you are someone who have experience darkness in life, and needs even just a bit of reason to continue living, Thoreau will give it to you as you read / listen to his story.

I can’t wait for the other 3 books to get released on here. The entire Five Fang, all the books, are just so gripping.

There are very few series I can say that have made me feel so deeply for the character and the world. With every book I read I felt like I was a part of the families, both blood and found, that knit this story together. I can only hope and pray that, even though this is the last book of Thoreau's story, and I've already read Luna Posy's story, that this isn't the last I've read of Five Fangs. I am by no means a re-reader. Most books are a once and done for me, twice if it's been many years. But I can say with confidence that this is on my top 3 list of books I will revisit again and again. Please, do yourselves a favor and join the five fangs pack.

I am going to go post this on the review pages for the first book of both Five Fangs series, in hopes that more positive reviews and more readers will convince the author that she needs to expand on this world ❤️

I have enjoyed every book this author has written. The nature of her trauma victims and what anchors them through their struggles is heartwarming.

The story is good. The story has alot of lgbtq and alternative romance elements, It's not really my preference so some story tags or discriptors in the story summary would have been appreciated.
