Book Four of the Train Through Time series.
Nathan Carpenter has lost the woman he loves - on a train...to another time. He has lost everything, even himself as he cannot find a way to return to his own time - to 1906.
Amanda Cartwright can't remember the stranger who accosts her on a train one fateful night, though he says they were engaged to be married - in another time - over 100 years ago.
Time and the fate seem to conspire to keep Nathan and Amanda apart. Is their love strong enough to find each other in time?

I had planned on listening to this series from book 1 on. However I made a mistake and began with book 4. I'm not saying that this book can't stand alone, because it does well on its own.
I love the concept of trains used in time travel. It's cool that Amanda isn't sure what exactly has to happen to time travel. Nathan only wants to find Amanda. who went missing the year before. Since neither are sure how she does it, because Nathan can't travel on his own. This makes for an interesting trip, especially when they are separated. This book hooked me from the start. I didn't want to stop listening to fix supper, so I listened as I cooked. I enjoyed the humorous moments, but there were some scenes that made me tear up. Now I need to back up and get the earlier books.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Sheila Green did great!!!
