Publisher's summary

The queen is back....

Her hair is white, her grin is nasty, and she's a little pissed.

The war is about to get a whole lot bigger.

A breakthrough with the Etheric has given Bethany Anne an edge - and an opportunity to take the fight to the Ooken.

What is a good Queen to do when not-so-good neighbors become royal pains in the ass? Baba Yaga comes out to play.

Family drama on Devon isn’t the only thing standing in the way of Bethany Anne’s liberation of Moen.

A prodigal daughter returns to facilitate Bethany Anne’s solution to Jean’s production woes, her teenagers are being…teenagers, and there isn’t a place in the universe except for Earth she wants to call home.

Bethany Anne’s determination to protect her people has no limits. At least, none that she recognizes.

The Kurtherians have played a long game, and taken one too many people from Bethany Anne.

Her response when she discovers the lengths the seven have gone to?

Hold an Etheric Storm in her hands and bend it to her will. There will be hell to pay across the universe.

Scroll up and download Finish What You Started right now. Go ahead, there isn't a Kurtherian waiting to bite you. At least, I don't think so.

Netflix worthy

Michael, how is this not a Netflix series with Emmily Beresford as B. A. already?

The hits keep coming

Well, this was an interesting story. it makes me want to know what the Izanami looks like, both the ai and the ship.
Of course we also need to thank the voice of Bethany Anne, Emily Beresford ❤.

Fabulous as always!

Great performance by Emily, and a fantastic story by Michael. I still cannot get enough of BA. my favorite part of this book is (no spoilers) revelations. I can see these revelations setting the stage for a fabulous ending to this series. now onto the next one!.

Another great installment in the Kurtherian Universe

I loved the story and the narration. Another fun story. I have been a fan for years and will continue to read and listen to these books.

Give Me More

Shinagami's death and rebirth was an awesome emotional rollercoaster ride. I was actually mourning her loss along with BA. And teared up when she was reborn in the epilogue. And that's just the icing on the cake for this book. So well written and read that I barely paused it.
Keep it up Michael

Wow

Wow, such a wonderful book and series. BA is my favorite character and I love how much she is in the story. Since there are so many great characters, especially the bitches, maybe they each can have their own books for their stories!!!

And BA becomes a greater force

Bethany Anne learns to command Etheric Storms, to the amazement of Tom and Adam. They become a tool to find Ooken bases for her Navy to eliminate.
I love Eve’s quote to Michael: “The only obstacle to growth is the decision to stop learning.”
BA & Michael forge an alliance with the Baka on Devon, and task Addix with protecting Trey, the Baka heir.
Barnabas works to get John & Jean’s granddaughter Nikkie back into the fold, contracting for the Federation and BA’s group.
BA gains further insights into the Etheric realm, and becomes a lethal weapon against the Ooken.
The only thing that didn’t work for me was BA’s dramatic grieving for Izanami. I just didn’t see or feel BA’s connection that fit the scene.
Beresford does a good job of narration, but has had several mispronunciations in this and the previous book. Surprised me.

Bit better

OK, this was a bit better than the previous. But still not as good as the first 10 or so KG books. She’s getting awfully powerful, almost godlike.
