About this listen

The bears were hungry and the panther was pacing her cage.

It was supposed to be a fun field trip to the wild animal safari. It became a nightmare of blood.

The zombie virus spread like wildfire and by noon, they were alone. Safe inside the fences, a group of school kids are the only survivors. Like the animals, they’ve lived their whole lives being cared for and fed, pampered, and loved. Now, they have to learn from each other how to survive, how to hunt, and how to kill.

Full of love, compassion, betrayals, and vengeance, this post-apocalyptic series is a unique adventure of bonding, friendship, and violence. Don’t threaten the children when the wolves are near.

Amazing Spin Off

I wasn't sure how I would like a spin of of the zombie road world with children as the main characters. But Wow!! Just as fascinating, fun and captivating as the Zombie Road seriers

I thoroughly enjoyed this story!

This is a story about a group of kids that band together in a zoo during a zombie apocalypse. They bond as one tribe and bond with the animals as well. It's a spin off of the Zombie Road series and I have to say this first book was better than Zombie Road in my opinion. It can be read as a stand alone without Zombie Road. I look forward to the next in series.

l loved this story!

I listened to this book constantly. Great, gory fight scenes, with zoo animals as fighting companions. And you can never go wrong with Eric A Shelman narrating!

Worth the wait!

I just completed listening to this book and it was really outstanding. These characters are so diverse it’s beautiful and the wide variety of animals makes you think about the what if’s. This book is well worth listening too! Can’t wait for the next book to come out.

fantastic spin off from the main series

Children are often seen as helpless. This book proves you wrong. The story is a great one, lots of excitement and drama. Well written with a great narrator. Absolutely worth a read!

Love This Spinoff

I've read (well listened to) all 6 books in Zombie Road series & am not so patiently waiting for #7. The characters were great and as always Im saddened (almost to rears) and literally LOL at times. Definite must read!
