Good stuff

Another great set of stories for the FDO! Side note: Does anyone know when the FDO becomes the DO??

Great collection but yet another mistake by Scott

First off, this series of short stories changed my mind about purchasing short story collections. This 3rd installment did not disappoint. The collection is great and changing up the narrator is a good choice.
however....
Scott puts the "authors note" before the story, instead of after the story where they really belong. You listen to the story, then are waiting to hear what inspired it, and are really confused since it is about the next story. It took me 3 of them before I realized what was happening.
In his Generations series, he switches narrators for the 3rd book. While AB Novak is a fine narrator, she was NOT EM. It really ruined the series. While I have re-listened to the first 2 multiple times, I will never listen to the 3rd one again as it just is such a disappointment.
I had considered his GFL series one of the best until he makes a choice with 1 hour left in the last book that, for me, ruined the entire series going forward. I didn't even listen to the last hour for over a week I was so upset.
Maybe it is because he publishes his own stuff that he doesn't have the editor that would keep him from making these horrible choices. Not sure, whatever it might be, they add up after a while.

Excellent Listen!!

Scott Sigler has another tremendous success with this Anthology. The stories are fantastic. I believe 2 or 3 of them were previously published but are good enough that it did not matter. Varied narrators are key to great anthologies and this book benefits from talented narrators. The narrators are all first rate, even when Scott Sigler narrates a couple of his own stories. Scott Sigler’s horror stories have a tendency to have very disturbing graphic descriptions. They elicit a visceral reaction that always helps take his stories to the next level…good, of course!! If you do not like those types of descriptions, then this book may not be right for you. Otherwise, in my not so humble opinion, this is another Scott Sigler hit!!

too much feminism bud

it's not even subtle either dude. You can take your armor off, equality has been written into american legislation, we don't need any more little white knights. Everything else was great though, your performer for hippopotamus is great at what he does.
So, 5 stars for the performance, but 3 for the content being so obviously politically driven.
