Unfortunately Abridged

I'd love to hear the unabridged version in audiobook form. I feel like this abridged audiobook does expand on the topic from 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, but that there should have been more content pulled from the book. It is a great short listen, but I would not spend $10 on something like this again.

It would have been five stars.

And I purchased this audiobook with the assumption that it was the complete text of the written version. It is not. It is profoundly edited and truncated. Additionally, even though the principles are contained herein, the detail and some of the background as well as chapter layout does not appear to be. You would do well to listen to this over and over, but you would do better to read the actual text. Still and yet, exceptional content. Exceptional principles. And totally worthwhile.

Wonderful

I feel sad that I have not studied Stephen Covey's books earlier in my life . There is much wisdom and strength to be found in this text . I hope to read it more than once,, and to study more of his books. There are not many truly good and wise people in this world, and clearly Covey is one of them.

Abridged version

While I had hoped to find an unabridged audiobook of First Things, this edition is a solid second. It captures the essence of the book and a little more. This is a good choice if you don't need to "immersion read" the original.

On Repeat

This is the stuff you listen to 20 times in one day (the most impactful segments like the analogy of the farm) Then you think about it for one day. Then you listen to it 20 more times. Then you write some stuff down. Then you begin to walk it out. Then your life is changed. Excellent book.
