About this listen

Welcome to Ireland. Now die.

Conrad has a lot on his plate, and recovering from a punctured kidney is only the start….

Top of his to-do list is a trip to Cornwall for an interview with Morwenna Mowbray, vessel and victim of Fae magick.

Before he can go, Tom Morton has news on the missing book, the Codex Defanatus.

And soon it becomes clear that all roads lead across the Irish Sea, to a country where Conrad has no jurisdiction, no allies, and where his enemies are not one, but two Fae queens.

He knows that it’s a long road to Galway, and that when he gets to the end, he’ll be alone, but choosing his travelling companions is only the first challenge.

Conrad’s struggle to wash the stain of the Codex from his family name reaches a climax in the ninth book of the King’s Watch, Five Leaf Clover.

Grab a copy now and find out if Conrad has the luck of the Irish.

Love it 9 books deep & getting better

Such an enjoyable series. So glad to have discovered this author. Characters grow with depth while entanglements tighten. 4 more to go & I can’t wait.

Another Great Read/Ĺisten in the Series

Some questions are answered and
some plot lines are wrapped up. All while being lead on another of Conrad's quests. The outcomes of which are often solved by what at first glance appears to be deus ex machina, but in fact has been hinted at throughout the book and series.
The narration is outstanding and unlike some narrators , does nothing but add a new and enjoyable dimension to the story. One warning though, the desire too know whats next can lead to some very long nights and mornings that come way too early.

The change between narrators is unpleasant

The story as always is very engaging and the characters are well developed. The narration really needs to be rethought. while both are good, it is very unpleasant when characters voices are suddenly changed so much that they are unrecognizable. why is this necessary? it is in reality distracting.
