About this listen

Sage Brennan and Alaska "Lass" Jones were best friends who loved and lived together. She went on to "bigger and better" things in New York City, and Sage stayed in Coopertown, Alaska, as their sheriff. For three years, the two of them caught up weekly on the phone, texted back and forth, and he would always ask if she was coming back, and her answer was always a resounding, "No!"

That all came to a screeching halt early one morning. Lass was now the prime suspect in the murder of her mother that happened before she moved to New York City three years before. She was ordered to come back to Coopertown, which she did, but there was only one problem. Her mother had died 10 years before, in New York City, or had she?

What was going on? Could Sage try and figure it out before time ran out? There was also a bigger problem. It seemed like time was no longer on a fixed course, but played with them at its whimsy.

Interesting Plot

A different type of plot with a touch of the supernatural. Lass said no too many time, and the universe brings her back home. Enjoyable like watching Twilight Zone episode once again. Given ARC audio which I thought added to the plot for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Paranormal mystery at its finest

I loved this book. The plot was imaginative and thought provoking. The characters are likable and strong with a little sarcasm in the mix. This book is in my opinion the new updated version of the Twilight Zone and I mean that in the nicest way possible because it is one of my favorite shows.
Sage Brennan and Alaska Jane Jones have been friends since they were children but one day something in the universe goes haywire and nothing is the way it was. Their world keeps changing and they need to figure out what is going on. If you love imaginative, creative books with a light hearted sarcasm then I highly recommend this book. I guarantee that you will not be able to put it down and you won't regret it.
