Publisher's summary

Dr. Xander Kane. Sexy. Charming. Wealthy...the stuff all girls' dreams are made of. Until an accident destroyed his memory of me.

Our sizzling connection wouldn’t have lasted.

That’s a lie.

He doesn’t remember me, the last 12 years, or that I was next to him during the accident.

He obsessively searches for his ex from over a decade ago.

I’m trying to get over him...until he becomes the newest surgeon on staff.

Our chemistry’s still explosive. The accident didn’t steal one ounce of it.

Every time he claims he still doesn’t remember me and only her, it destroys me further.

I try to escape him.

He keeps pulling me back to him.

And his past is going to derail our future....

Forgotten by the Billionaire is a stand-alone second-chance/amnesia medical romance with a billionaire surgeon. Enough heat and heart to give you all the feels! Please note this book's original title was Don't Forget Me.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Gripping & Emotional!

Maggie Cole continues to wow me with another fabulous novel set in her “It’s Complicated” series, a series of interconnected standalone novels, each one featuring different lead characters, some who overlap into each other’s books. This second book is Xander and Charlotte’s story, they met thru mutual friends and immediately hit it off. Except a car accident but an end to their budding relationship when Xander’s head injury has him forgetting the last twelve years of his life, and he thinks he is still with the love of his life, Billie and has no memory of Charlotte, which breaks her heart. And to make it even harder, Xander was planning to move to Chicago and had applied for a position in the same hospital where she works and starts working there after he recovers from his injuries. A heartbroken Charlotte has to not only see him, but work with him, too. The two hit is off again but Xander still feels like he is with Billie, despite not seeing her around and his friends telling him he isn’t, he just can’t get her out of his heart and Charlotte takes his rejection to heart and does not want to compete with a memory, but she continue to be drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Will his memory come back, will he be able to move past his own memory, and what happens when it all comes to a head? And to complicate things even further is Charlotte’s ex and coworker. I loved how everything played out in this wonderfully plotted story, there is plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and a steamy romance. Maggie Cole, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Maggie Cole always casts the best narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Stephanie Nemeth Parker and Zachary Johnson did an exceptional job portraying these characters, humanizing them with emotions and giving them voices that fit their characters persona with perfection. Parker nailed it as Charlotte, grasped every side of her personality, her wit, strength, as well as her vulnerabilities and heartache. Johnson did the same for Xander, capturing his struggle to remember and determination to make things right. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well, giving each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow and tell who is who. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

An Amnesia Billionaire Romance

Forgotten by the Billionaire by Maggie Cole is an amnesia billionaire romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stephanie Nemeth Parker and Zachary Johnson. This is the second book in the It's Complicated series and can be read as a stand-alone.

I absolutely love Maggie's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I loved the relationship between Xander and Charlotte. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series My Friend The Billionaire so I can get Chase and Vivian's story.

Stephanie and Zachary did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like billionaire romances, second chance romances, amnesia romances, medical romances, or contemporary romances.

The narrators both did such an amazing job of bringing this story to life, and it was like the first time all over for me! I can't wait to continue with the rest of the series! Amazing job!

Beautiful Second Chance to Love!

This is the second book in the It's Complicated Series, a Contemporary Romance. This is a series of standalone romances. Xander and Charlotte's story is emotional, and beautifully written, filled with angst, and twists and turns. Xander, a billionaire and an orthopedic surgeon, is very handsome. Charlotte, an OR medical rep, is beautiful, kind, and caring. They had an accident, and Xander has amnesia and he doesn’t remember the last 12 years, including Charlotte. The back and forth, past to present, is easy to follow. This is an excellent second chance to love. The ending is beautiful. The friendship in the story is amazing, and I am looking forward to know more about Xavier and Charlotte's friends. Stephanie Nemeth Parker and Zachary Johnson did a great job with the narration.

love it

Wow! . This story is amazing. My heart went out to Zander trying to remember. Losing 12 years of his life devastated him. he was determined to find out what happened to his first love, Billie. He was convinced her still loved her.
Charlotte , sweet Charlotte sitting in the sidelines patiently waiting for him to remember her. heartbroken ,sad, she couldn't be with him anymore.
this rollercoaster of emotions, and kept me enthralled with this story.
Stephanie Nemeth Parker and Zachary Johnson narration is very good. Their performance is worth 10 stars. I could feel all the emotions of love , anger and despair . Their happiness, sadness, doubts throughout this audio.
I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.

The female character sheesh

She was just ridiculous if you ask me. Constantly whining and crying. I just couldn’t take it. The male character just kept taking it. I don’t understand. It wasn’t his fault with any of it but they just kept making it seem like it was. I hate stories like this. Could have been a great story except for them making the man the blame for everything. He had amnesia and every time there was a misunderstanding, she never listened. I hate this type of crap. The MFC never took any blame or responsibility for her actions at all. Made the man a simp for something he couldn’t control.
