About this listen

Little Miss Sunshine will make the perfect fake bride to take home for the holidays…who cares if I’m her boss?

She’s going to drive me nuts.

Nevertheless, her perky everything, endless legs, and innocent eyes will come in handy.

It’ll stop my family from pushing every country girl turned wanna-be Dallas socialite on me.

The town gossips will be disappointed she’s not another one of my fiancées that’ll never make it down the aisle. And they’ll be jealous when every man falls in love with her.

I’ll ignore everyone and work…except when she’s fueling my warped needs.

Although she did surprise me and negotiated a higher prenup for her silly cupcake bakery.

Too bad for her, I’m not a reckless billionaire—my attorney will find the loophole.

Once January 2nd arrives, I’m divorcing her.

Except the more we’re together, the more she’s infiltrating my heart… in ways that have me second guessing our secret arrangement…

Holiday Hoax is a billionaire fake marriage, enemies to lovers, office romance. It’s a slow-burn steamy standalone novel with a grumpy hero who has a broken past and a good girl spitfire heroine who keeps him on his toes.

The Perfect Holiday Romance!

Ava and Aiden did such an amazing job bringing this amazing story to life. This had all the appeal of a Hallmark Christmas movie with the added bonus of being oh so steamy! I fell in love with the characters from the very beginning and loved the back and forth between Georgia and Sebastian. Such a fun story, perfect for the holidays!

🎄I WAS HO..HO..HOPELESSLY ADDICTED🎄

I do love a good ’fake’ marriage story and, when one comes up that’s been written by one of my favorite authors, I one click and dive right in. And Ms Cole didn’t disappoint.. in fact she excelled at pulling me into Sebastian and Georgia’s crazy beautiful world where you know their well thought out temporary marriage plans was somehow going to spectacularly backfire. It was all there.. the attraction, the chemistry, the secondary supportive family, the sizzles, the festive cheer.. and the love. But devastation and heartbreak was waiting too when..…. well that’s Ms Cole’s delicious story to tell. Well, along with Ava and Aiden who were the perfect fit to give Sebastian and Georgia’s hopeful, happy, heartbroken and healed points of view. Their narration brought the wealth of feels, character flaws and growth and secondary cast of family members to life.. along with the well-woven warmth and wonders of forgiveness and the festive fireworks of second chances.

Worth a credit? I was ho-ho-hopelessly addicted to dreams, cupcakes, reforming a broody CEO and happily ever afters.. and yes very creditworthy.

Good, but a little rushed in the beginning

Overall the story was good, but felt rushed in the beginning. There was an element of insta-love (characters’ inner dialogue) pretty early on without any foundation for it. If there had only been a little bit more development between Georgia and Sebastian at the start it could have gone from a good story to a great one. I felt like there was something missing in the story at the beginning, but it definitely got better when they went to visit Sebastian’s family. I really started to enjoy it after that point. Sebastian and Georgia were both likable characters, as were the members of Sebastian’s family. Excellent narrator casting. Ava Lucas and Aiden Snow gave great performances.

Billionaire Fake Marriage Romance

Holiday Hoax by Maggie Cole is a billionaire fake marriage romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Ava Lucas and Aiden Snow.

I absolutely love Maggie's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I loved the relationship between Sebastian and Georgia. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Ava and Aiden did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you like billionaire romances, fake marriage romances, enemies to lovers romances, or office romances.

Cute story

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the story loved both grumpy Sebastian and sunny Georgia but OMG his family and his home town were just annoying and insensitive.
I get it that Sebastian made a few stupid choices on women but there's no way in real life that would happen....falling in love is one thing but be that blind on no seeing pretty much every woman he "loved" was a gold digger for being kinda the CEO and being soo smart he was soo stupid with love it really frustrated me. Georgia was soo sweet with him and his family...she loves making cupcakes but there was just one moment I recall were I got irritated with her... when she assumes something without actually knowing the truth and quits the "cotract" she had with Sebastian...there is a HEA but a little of drama with a lot of gossip 🙄
Overall I enjoyed the story...it was funny, steamy, frustrating, miscommunication an a serious emotional rollercoaster. It was a good Christmas story and the audio was even better. Ava Lucas is one of my favorite narrators and she did a wonderful job as always....Aiden Snow was fantastic too and hope Maggie will have them narrating more books together ❤️

My Thoughts on Holiday Hoax

Some of the things I really liked about this story was the grumpy hero who was willing to fight and do anything he had to in order to win back the love of his life once he messed up. Plus, the leading lady was very likable and stood up for herself. The steamy scenes were on point, so that was another plus. And the ending of the story was satisfying. The cherry on top was the narration which on its own was 5 stars for both performers.

What I didn’t love about the story was the lack of communication. Yes, there were some intentionally kept secrets and that I could deal with. But it was the moments when they should have talked and instead said nothing or when they didn’t say what they really meant when the truth or speaking at all could have fixed it all. I’ve read worse however and, in the end, things were as they should be. I also didn’t like Sebastian’s family sometimes. They seemed oblivious or just uncaring of why he did what he did to begin with. There was no empathy and certainly no apology for their part in things, particularly his parents. And then they came down so hard on him and kept wanting to ignore Georgia’s part even when she kept bringing it up. They really didn’t seem like they were on his side or supported him and that was a big bummer in the story for me.

Overall, this was a cute holiday listen though and I would still pick up another Maggie Cole story in a heartbeat.
