Another winner for Ms Hamilton

What did you love best about Fredo's Secret?

You get to reconnect with previous characters of the Seal series. Always a plus

What other book might you compare Fredo's Secret to and why?

The other Seal books by this talented author

Which scene was your favorite?

Fredo's concern with the neighborhood kids

Any additional comments?

I have been a fan of Ms Hamilton for a long time, and somehow had failed to read Fredo’s Secret. So, I decided it was time to reconnect with him via an audio book titled Fredo’s Secret. First I have to say, I enjoyed the narrator’s delivery. You always knew who was speaking. So I was happy to give it a try.
In this story we discover recent news Fredo has received which have devastated him tremendously, but though he knows he needs to tell Mia, who is now his wife, he fears her reaction.
In the midst of all this, there are gangs threatening lives in the neighborhood Mia’s mom lives, and he is determine to help the neighborhood.
We get a chance to greet some of our favorite characters from previous stories: Cooper (whom I loved) and Kyle.
At the end, will Fredo reveal his secret or will he continue to keep Mia in the dark? Pick up the audio or the novella to find out. You will not be disappointed since this is another entertaining and thoughtful story by Ms Hamilton.

I love Fredo!!!

What did you love best about Fredo's Secret?

Okay I love Fredo hard! He is one of my favorites and I'm glad to get to see him in a light all his own.

Seems Fredo is good at getting himself into trouble even when he isn't looking for it. So when he is gunned down in the street the hint starts for the arsemuncher(s) that shot him. And for the one that saved his life.

Mia of course just wants to keep him home to heal. The cops are out of their league and Fredo, oh he's one determined SOB.

With the time he spends looking in this neighborhood he notices just how bad things have gotten. So him and his team along with others decide to help the community out. It is almost Christmas after all. But their "helping" the community by fixing up an old school's basketball court so the kids in the area have a safe place to play sets off a chain of events that puts them all in a place between a rock and a hard place.

In the end though they have to put a stop to the arsemunchers causing the issues and destruction. Who better to do that than the SEAL team?

I do love these fellas, they're all so special in their own way!

What do you do when you have a big secret?

What do you do when you have a big secret and you don't know how to tell the one you love? You ask your best friend for advice.
It was great seeing the team come together and work as a unit. It was refreshing to see such a confident man effected so deeply with the burden of his secret. He loves her for certain, but he doesn't know if she will continue to want to be with him once she knows his secret.

I can only imagine what a man like Fredo is feeling. My heart truly felt for him.
Thank you Sharon for writing another high energy story that also portrays real life issues and struggles.

Note- If you haven't heard J.D. Hart: "The Pirate Storyteller" narrate a book yet, let Sharon Hamilton's "SEAL brotherhood- Fredo's Secret" be your initiation into audiobooks. OH my word, it's a miracle that I can get any work done while listening to this book!
Seriously though, the man has a true talent and his narration is superb

It was good

I did like this story. I think Fredo should have told Mia his secret, but besides that, it was a good story. The narrator was okay to listen to.

Action Packed and Heart Warming all in One

What did you love best about Fredo's Secret?

I loved getting a better look into Fredo and Mia's relationship, they've intrigued me since we first met them. Fredo's devotion and love for Mia and her son is something special and I loved the look at the softer side of Fredo. The way he came up with and worked on the community project really highlighted the type of man Fredo is.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fredo's Secret?

I loved the action portion of this story. There is so much that goes on in this short story, I love that it was all developed, flowed from one event to another and and concluded in the way it did. I loved how Fredo too Julio under his wing, protected him when he could, and fought to essentially avenge him in the end. In addition, I loved seeing the rest of Seal Team 3 make appearances and support Fredo is his quest to revitalize the community.

Any additional comments?

I love that Sharon wrote this short novella for her readers, and enjoyed J.D.'s interpretation of the story. I loved the action portion of the story. The beginning was engaging and grabbed your attention and the flow of events kept you in the story until the end. A fantastic short story from every angle.

Team Fredo!

I can’t quite put my finger on why Fredo Chavez is my favorite character in the SEAL Brotherhood series. It could be because his character is so full of emotion and he has such a sensitive soul. Or it could be the contrast of his hard as nails SEAL persona that I find so Interesting.

Then again it could be the way JD Hart voices Fredo. He emotes a sense of vulnerability that really makes you feel for Fredo.

This 2 ½ hour novella is a prelude to the Fredo’s Dream audiobook and gives a nice insight into Fredo’s personality and how he became the man he is.

The heart of a warrior

What made the experience of listening to Fredo's Secret the most enjoyable?

First J.D. does an awesome job and makes the story very enjoyable. Then of course I have been waiting to find out more about Fredo. He always make me smile.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really liked Fredo. I was so glad he got his own story as he has been an awesome supporting character in the other books. I liked we got to see inside his head and heart more to see the real man he is.

What does J.D. Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brings the characters to life. You can picture them in your mind and feel what they are feeling just by the changes in J. D.'s voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, When Fredo was injured and Mia was at his bedside. She fought his love for so long that it was great to see the love she felt for our misunderstood seal with the uni brow. :)

Any additional comments?

I am so glad Ms. Hamilton wrote his story. Fredo always make me laugh when he lands his zingers on the other guys. I enjoyed getting to know more about the man and to better understand how his mind works.

Another great hit!

Fredo's Secret is another incredible read...or listen rather. J.D. Hart captures your attention from the start and pays such attention to detail with infliction and intent.

I was glad to get a chance to hear Fredo's story. Fredo has a secret that he chooses to keep from the heroine. I was shocked that he would do such a thing and led me to feel like he couldn't trust the woman he loved. The overall story was great with the team interaction, but I was not a fan of the secret keeping. It hung over the heads of the characters for me. Overall it was a good story.
