About this listen

Fans call me the king of the water. I'm focused, driven, and, most importantly, I win.

Life as a professional swimmer comes with sacrifices, but they’ve never worried me. I’m used to life with little room for anything but training, eating, and sleeping. Nothing more, nothing less.

When a son I knew nothing about lands on my doorstep—and a crazy but very beautiful nanny shortly after—my life is turned upside down. Allowing any change in my life could put my goals and dreams in jeopardy, and I’ve worked too hard and too long for them.

When I’m tempted to look beyond lap times and medals to bedtime stories and the possibility of love, I face one of the hardest questions of my life: is it worth the risk?

Fresh Meet is the second book in The Kings Of The Water series. All books in this series can be enjoyed as standalones.

Awesome book! I really enjoyed listening to the book and the narrators did a great job.

A cute story, but I picked it up for a specific trope that was supposed to be in it (based on a recommendation) and it wasn't there. I wish there were more scenes with the son, and a better resolution with her family, but overall, it was an okay read.

I read this book years ago and enjoyed it, and thought I would check out the audiobook for a reread. For a story with sign language as a fairly important part of the storyline, it was particularly annoying that the narrator said the word sign or signing as sing and singing repeatedly. It pretty much ruined the performance for me as every time I heard it, it jumped out and took me out of the story completely. She’s not telling someone to watch Singing Time videos to learn sign language for crying out loud. 🙄🙄 I’m not sure how this passed review. ::sigh::

Narrator said “signing” wrong every time
