Love the story love the series

This final book was nothing short of amazing. The long wait for its release is understandable once you listen. The accents are spot on, and the heartbreak along with the surprises don't stop. I spent a fair amount of time crying while listening to this, and it was worth every tear. I don't believe I have ever been so pleased with the way a series was wrapped up. Authors should take a cue from Kresly, because she NAILED IT. I will miss these characters and all that they brought to the story. Thank you, Kresley for taking the time to do this right! Thank you Emma for giving us the story the way it should have been told. This re-recorded speaks volumes about how important this was to you:)

Great story, narrator didn’t prep.

I have this entire series on audio book and the ending is the Cherry on top! It rips your heart out and leaves you in a state of shock days after you are finished.
That being said I was so excited that Emma Galvin was coming back to do the narration, until I started listening. I almost returned this book, all of the voices are different, she didn’t give Aric his accent. It was so bad in the beginning of the book I couldn’t tell the difference between Evie and Aric speaking to each other. If you hadn’t listened to the books back to back it may not be noticeable but I did in order to be “refreshed” for this release. The difference are so jarring the main on being Aric but also Jack.
Overall I loved the story and am thrilled with the ending. I am completely disappointed with the lack a preparation on the part of Emma Galvin.

The greatest love story

Evie Green is one of the bravest characters I have been blessed to follow through 7 books! I must say that this book was worth the wait.

It took me on emotional highs and lows. Just when I thought my heart could not break any more over these fictional characters, it happened again and again.

This book is very well written and I love how the story finished. The ending was NOT rushed and I felt that I got closure.

Now I’m off to read every other book Kresley has written.

Listen to me READ THIS BOOK! You will not regret it.

I’m so sad it’s over but happy for the ending they received.

Omg

Some may not have enjoyed it, but I definitely did. I think it was worth the wait, and I cried and screamed throughout this book I thought the chariot deserved better than what he got during the battle personally, but I loved the twist with death and the ending was what I wanted entirely. Forever my favorite series.

What a Beautiful ending to a much Loved Series

Get your tissues ready and be prepared to be in shock and awe!!
Mrs. Cole delivered an ending that comes full circle. What a brilliant way to end a series I have loved for many years.

As for the narration, :
The narration was not the same as in previous books. I was so excited to see Emma Gavlin returning to finish this series. However, her performances fell a bit flat for me. Several times I couldn't differentiate who was speaking and it got confusing, especially in the battle scenes. Her accents for my beloved characters were not there to the point where most of the male characters sounded the same.

Great Ending

As many state, there was a lack of distinction between voices of a couple characters because accents were dropped for some reason. Idk if it was time constraints, poor research of her previous work before starting, not sure. Having binged them all one more time before listening to this I was immediately aware and shocked at Death's lack of an accent, which until now was amazing and almost made me want to read it instead of listening.

However, the content was gold; tense, emotional, funny, and I never wanted it to end. Beautifully wrapped up.

the ending we needed, to the story we loved.
epic, well executed. last 15 chapters, I cried and cried.
if the audio books are ever re-recorded, having male voices for Aric and Jack would be amazing.
