A walk

Sweet clean romance with a little suspense. Nothing too exciting but enough to hold my interest. Didn't care for narrator. Voice not pleasant. Gravelly and too deep. Wasnt sure if partially due to poor recording because other times more tolerable.

Love in the West.

Honest and truly love with the family. Even more so in they are in danger.

The Wyllie family just gets better!

Sam and Catherine found each other in New Frontier of Love: American Wilderness Series, Book 2. I loved this couple's story of love and loss, but also loved the whole family as they travel from New England to begin new lives in Kentucky shortly after the Revolutionary War!

The whole family gets involved with Sam and Catherine's lives and troubles as they welcome their first child, face kidnappers, try to foil a plot against Sam, and winning a horse race, along with getting just the right Christmas presents for all the kids in the family. It is a real, honest and sometimes a bit gritty book of what it was like back in the post-Revolutionary war era when our young country started to expand and when Kentucky was considered the "wild west". A great stand-alone book, but your listening experience can be much richer if you read the other books to get the backstories of each family member.

Dorothy Wiley does a beautiful job once again of writing about the Wyllie family who values family, faith, honor and the American spirit! Tim Campbell does another amazing job with consistent characters (even from earlier books) and at times I just closed my eyes and could see the book come alive in my mind's eye. Looking forward to book 6!
