About this listen

Amid glistening icebergs and chill winds, the Aurelia sails from Newfoundland to Iceland. It's a beautiful setting...for revenge.

Patricia and friends are back on the ship with a few new faces alongside the old. It ought to be cause for celebration but the Aurelia is suffering a series of mishaps and the captain, devilishly handsome Alistair Huntley, suspects sabotage is to blame.

But who is the saboteur? What would motivate a person to damage a ship in frigid waters and what might that person do next? It's no surprise when Patricia decides to look into it, but taking to the Aurelia just to escape the Godmother and her crazed assassins, could it be that she is already here waiting for her?

The truth will shock you to your core.

Patrica back home!

I really loved this book. It was what I was waiting for; Patrica being back onboard the Auralia and had a sense of familiarity and nostalgia and also fitting for Patricia.
The voice for Captain Alistair Huntley was completely off though and made him sound like an old man; totally contrary to his introductory description in the first book. It was hard to picture him as a handsome, middle aged man in good shape and all I could picture was an old man with white hair and a white beard.
The voices for the security team were also off. I really do not like this narrator for this series. It makes Patrica sound old and snobbish, which she is not.
But overall, the book was very entertaining and kept me captivated

I really enjoy these Patricia Fisher Mysteries

I have hopes of reading all of these mysteries by Steve Higgs. They are excellent, no foul language to put up with but are exciting and a lot of action.

Frozen Vengeance

Patricia and friends are back on the Aurelia. She's given a royal welcome by the Captain and crew and once again she adds humor to the solemnity. She's arrived in time to be faxed with a mystery that has her hackles raising. Something isn't right and then her maid Molly disappears. Now she's on the move to find her maid and gets entered in the mystery of fire bombings, murder and ship disasters.
Once again Maryanne Wells brings each character to life.
Fantastic audio and story!!

Great series

I really enjoy this series but I really don't like the narrator, her portrayals and accents aren't very good and she makes it difficult to listen without being irritated. I wish it was any of the other narrators from the earlier books. The stories are great and Steve Higgs is one of my favorite authors. I think I'll just have to read the rest of the series when it comes out, can't listen anymore!

Patricia Fisher is back on the Aurelia

Frozen Vengeance is another outstanding Patricia Fisher Mystery. Steve Higgs writes such a fun and zany mystery. Patricia has upset the Godmother and is back on the Aurelia Cruise Ship along with all if her friends. The cruise ship is being sabotaged and a special friend is shot. If you enjoy clean mysteries, any of Steve Higgs books are wonderful. Maryanne M Wells does an enjoyable narration. I received a code for my honest review.

Such bad narration

I have enjoyed this series. I was shocked that this narrator was even distributed. She tried accents which were insultingly childish and inconsistent. I struggled to even listen but thought it had to get better. It did not.
