About this listen

From USA Today best-selling authors comes book one in the Crossover series.

A mafia princess. The nation's favorite football player. Can they make it work?

An unlikely matching of the stars.

The opposites had it all for one year.

Justice Bexley, the daughter of Cain and Calla leaders of the Diamond Syndicate, sacrificed true love to protect Liam. Her selfish action destroyed them both.

Liam Blake moved on with his prestigious career. However, his outlook on life was never the same. If his parents could fight for true love with a pinky promise, he can keep moving forward. At least he tried convincing himself of that.

Some say true love has a way of finding its way back. Justice and Liam know better than to believe. That's up until the day they find themselves in a heated meeting.

She owns a new football team.

He's coming back from an injury and thirsty to prove the nation wrong.

Years of pent-up anger and hatred may fuel an epic second-chance love story or ruin both of them for good.

Binding Sport Football + Mafia

Full Contact is the first novel in this brand-new series called The Crossover Series. Looking forward to reading other books in this series. A well blended second chance sports romance entangled with a mafia organization. The synopsis drew me in & the prologue intrigued me. With compelling, tenacious characters that bring out a romantic and suspenseful listen. Sexy & angsty with entertaining antics and banter.

As these authors are new to me I wasn't aware that some characters are in previous books of these two authors. I would like to know which ones so I could go back and read them.

Narrators Lacy Laurel and Logan McAllister performance was flawless.

too much bedroom

I enjoyed the storyline but feel it could have been better without half the amount of adult time activities. It was OVERKILL! The story was good enough without that overload, and it distracted from a good storyline with so much of it. Empathy to poor Alex and his conscience. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.

Justice and Liam had young love until Justice called it quits to protect him from her mafia family. Now years later they meet again when she the new owner of the football team he plays for. Years of pent up passion for each never faded but the anger for what happened is still there. Can theh get pass the past? Will these two get a second chance at love? Will there be a HEA?

This was an excellent story!!

I am a fan of both H.J. Bellus and Kathy Coopmans.. is this collaboration, for me, is awesome! This story and these characters are ones that make me want more! I loved the storyline, even though I am not a football fan.
Lacy Laurel is excellent, Logan McAllister is an acquired taste for me.. I’m always a bit taken back by the demeanor of his voice until I get into the story. It doesn’t stop me from listening!!

5/5

This is the first book I've read by either HJ Bellus or Kathy Coopmans. I really enjoyed it and truly had no idea who the stalker was until it was revealed. This NEVER happens and makes me want to read more of their writing. I definitely want to read more of this series. The climax of the story nearly gutted me. I was listening at work and nearly started crying (again, also rare - for audio).

I received this audiobook for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Mafia/football romance!

I asked to receive this free review audible book and wrote this unbiased review. The authors created a romantic second chance love story filled with suspense, a deranged stalker, a chance to correct past mistakes, loveable characters and hot romantic love scenes. Their character and plot development will make you fall in love with these characters. Both Liam and Justice are strong and trying to achieve their career goals. They find that communication is a key ingredient in a loving relationship. Both characters have loving families that are there to help them. Liam's sister is a funny and loveable young lady. The narrators are awesome storytellers who portray the emotions and personalities of these characters. They give distinctive voices to each person thereby bringing them to life. I highly recommend this Audible book.

i have so much love for this story!

It kills me to rate Full Contact the way I just did. Seriously, it hurts my insides. I lived the F out of this book when I read it. I devoured the words like a trail of candy leading to my HEA. i lived it so much. I loved, cried, raged, and mourned along side the Justice and Liam. I loved "seeing" old friends and making new ones.

However, these two narrators are both a major buzz kill for me. I tried. This is the second or third book I've trudged through with them and I can honestly say their styles didn't/don't work for me. While Logan has an appealing tone, his John Wayne style of speaking didn't click with Liam for me. Unfortunately, Lacey isn't my idea of Justice either. I had hoped it was something I just needed to get used to but I genuinely think that sometimes you jhst don't click with a narrator(s).

However, I fully recommend taking the time to read it for yourself! (I even have the paperback on my shelf!)

loved it

Justice Bexley has been taught throughout her life to be a strong independent woman. When she became CEO and part owner of Football team. She knew right away she wanted to have Liam Blake as her quarterback. They have a romantic history, but she was the one who called it off. Liam has on his mind to play football and make her life miserable. Bring in a stalker to make this interesting.
Lacy Laurel and Logan McAllister narration is very good. Giving each character their own voice and personality.

Mafia and football?

The team of HJ Bellus and Kathy Coopmans promises a great read, but when I saw this I thought, how can they merge sports romance with mafia? With strong characters and a dual point of view, these two wrote a beautiful love story with a suspenseful back story. Justice is the daughter of a mafia family who dated Liam, the star quarterback I. Her college. When things got serious, she broke up with him to protect his reputation. When she takes on the ownership and management of a new football team, these two have their paths cross again, and sparks fly! But will they be able to get past the breakup and move on? Will her family be a problem for Liam? And how will it effect the team, the family and their relationship? Bellus and Coopmans bring us Liam, the hot athlete who is strong willed, fiercely protctive and a teddy bear to take care of Justice, an incredibly smart, strong and beautiful woman out to prove herself a success. It is a fun, action filled book surely making your ears happy,

The enjoyable team of Lacy Laurel and Logan McAllister bring these characters to life. These two have such great chemistry, their pace is good and I love the variety of voices they have to portray all the characters. Always a pleasure to listen to them.
