About this listen

One moment, computer consultant Parker Hamilton was quietly programming in his house along the rugged Pacific coast. And the next, his life was thrown into a tailspin. He discovered he was a father. What would he do? What would he say to his daughter? Did she know the truth - that he hadn't known about her? And why was her beautiful aunt, Erin Ridgway, suddenly giving him the chance to be a full-time father?

Despite everything, Erin promised herself she'd give Parker a chance to know his daughter. But what could a lonely millionaire know about raising a little girl? Well, Erin was going to have to find out...for the sake of Christie, who so desperately wanted a family.

This was a little more repetitive than I can handle. Not my favorite from this author.

Did not follow a series at all. A little confused. Not a bad story but not my favorite

The story line was AWESOME! I ALWAYS love Susan Mallery. The narrator wasn't the right person for this book. She sounded extremely young, but then again maybe that's how it was recorded, I don't know. I always tell myself to give it a chance and the vocals did get better, but whenever I stopped for the day and picked it up again the next day, I had to start all over. Again, it's a great story line. A great book to just escape.

Great Storyline!

Fluffy love story. Narrator was terrible. I always enjoy SM's books.

Love Susan Mallery

THIS IS A GOOD BOOK, BUT THE NARRATOR WHO READS THIS BOOK SOUNDS LIKE A CHILD. ANY SEXUAL CONTENT SOUNDS MORE LIKE CHILD PORN.

I HEAR YA

Although this story has some moderately graphic sexual scenes, that is in no way the the major “flavor” of the story. This story is about building relationships between a father and his young daughter, under the supervision of the little girl’s aunt/mother and the loving relationships that develop between all of them.
A very heartwarming story!

Start off the story was boring! The audio girl sound like she is 8 years old! As much as I love her books this one wasn't good at all!

This is her worst!

I am a big Susan Mallery Fan, but this just couldn't hold my interest. You can gain as much from the synopsis as the book. That's it in a nutshell.

This is the first Susan Mallery novel I didn't like; and the narrator made it even worse. The story line was week and the narrator's voice gave all the characters an air of unbelievability. Not worth the credit or cost.

Disappointment

Okay I really enjoy Susan Mallery and listen/read most all of her books but this was not one of her best. I don't know which was worse the story or the narrator. The narrator has such a squeeky voice so when she was Kristy, the 4 year old girl, she was perfect. It made it hard to feel any emotional connection between the two main characters with that squeeky voice trying to pretend she was a man. Mix that with the so-so story and it was a disaster for me. A few times I thought I would just stop listening because the story got so boaring. Save your credits (and I'll be avoiding anything else by this narrator.)

No so good...and this from a Susan Mallery fan.
