About this listen

Plague and devastation ravage the Mortal Realms, but there is hope yet, for Sigmar's Stormcast Eternals are paragons of justice and retribution.

In Ghyran and the lands of Rotwater Blight, Lord-Castellant Grymn fights on, not only to avenge the death of Lord-Celestant Gardus but also to find the Hidden Vale of Alarielle, the Radiant Queen and ruler of the sylvaneth. Only with her aid can the pestilence that ails the land be turned back.

Returning to the Hanging Valleys of Anvrok, Thostos Bladestorm is much changed, but he also carries a weighty truth...he has found Ghal Maraz, the great hammer of Sigmar itself. Reunited with Vandus Hammerhand, these two heroes and their warriors must conquer the Eldritch Fortress of Tzeentch and overthrow the dreaded Kairos Fateweaver if they are to retrieve this mighty artefact.

Who knew?

I listened to these on my commute to work everyday. All I could think about at work was my commute home. Josh Reynolds and Johnathan Keeble are a bewildering pair that bring to life the world of Warhammer.

short

I felt like for the price it could have been a lot longer. I enjoy the Age of Sigmar series but I'd like a little more content on these.

pretty good

pretty decent book, a little hard to follow sometimes but not bad. I had to listen to it twice to catch the overall plot, and I'll probably give it a third listen to catch all the minute details. I listen while working though, just a disclaimer. all in all worthwhile though...

Two solid novellas

Both stories were solid, with a mix of old characters and new characters. This novel moved the character development with the effects of recording—a solid entry in the series.

Cool stuff

Got some cool characters from other books and their backstory. Kairos fate weaver was in this and Skaven which I love. Give it a go if you’ve got a spare credit.

good storyline to introduce you to the age of Sigm

this book actually contains two stories. they occur in two different places and two separate storylines but I'm assuming they will merge at one point.

good storyline and lore building to introduce you into the age of Sigmar
