About this listen

The war is over, and the Mortal Realms have all but fallen to Chaos....

Korghos Khul rampages across the fiery Realm of Aqshy, hunting down mortal kind to slaughter or subjugate to Khorne. His Goretide have crushed all resistance...until the storm.

From the heavens hurtle paladins clad in gold. Sent by Sigmar, the Stormcast Eternals have come to liberate all the realms from the yoke of Chaos. Their leader is Vandus Hammerhand, Lord-Celestant of the Hammers of Sigmar.

After a long age of darkness, there is hope. Vandus must open the Gates of Azyr to unleash Sigmar's righteous fury against the damned. Everything depends on his victory.

overall a great listen, you feel as if you're truly part of the rank and file that is the Hammer Stormhost of Sigmar. I was most intrigued by Vandus h
Hammerhand the Lord Celestant leading the charge. A very well told story overall and am thoroughly happy for the listen. if you are looking to bring life into the table top miniatures such as I was trying to do this was definitely the way.

I enjoyed the story, and how it gave a bit of humanity to the Eternals. I feel like the stage is set nicely for more AoS content.

Nice Short Introduction

While I expected more for the price, this is a great hopping in point for people new to the franchise.

This story plays out almost like an anime at times. I loved how hero and villain have this long history that unfolds

Short but good

This book was awesome, and read extremely well. The author’s voice made an epic tale even more compelling. I was constantly wanting to paint more and more of my Stormcast with every word read aloud! Great start to the Age of Sigmar!

I am not disappointed. This story is fast-paced and action-packed and I love the interaction between the storm host and the gore tide.

Absolutely worth the listen! The performance alone makes it worth spending the credit. The story is a great introduction to AoS, the only reason I don’t give it five stars, is because of the length.

Worth it!
