Story
Browne believes all children are gifted. These gifts have merely been either stifled or exploited by society over the centuries. The gifts usually appear at very tender ages; they are, in Browne's view, special blessings from God. The respected New York Times best-selling psychic shares profound stories of how children can be channels to the Other Side.

Story
From award-winning journalist David Kushner, Alligator Candy is a reported memoir about family, survival, and the unwavering power of love. David Kushner grew up in the early 1970s in the Florida suburbs. It was when kids still ran free, riding bikes and disappearing into the nearby woods for hours at a time. One morning in 1973, however, everything changed. David’s older brother, Jon, biked through the forest to the convenience store for candy, and never returned.

It's 1997. Scarclaw Fell. The body of teenager Tom Jeffries is found at an outward bound centre. Verdict? Misadventure. But not everyone is convinced. And the truth of what happened in the beautiful but eerie fell is locked in the memories of the tight-knit group of friends who took that fateful trip and the flimsy testimony of those living nearby.

As a secular exorcist, Rachel H. Stavis has cleansed thousands of tormented people, from small children and Hollywood moguls to stay-at-home moms and politicians. But for many years, the horror screenwriter and novelist denied her gift. As a little girl, she began to see "monsters" floating around her bedroom or attached to other children. Told it was only her imagination, Rachel learned to ignore the things she saw. But a series of events in adulthood forced her to acknowledge her unique ability and embrace her power to heal.

A collection of Ghost stories
The stories are good. The narrator read through them pretty fast. A quick read or listen. I may be desensitized because none had scared, but a good listen for those who enjoy ghost stories.

Spooky Short Ghost Stories
This was an interesting collection of ghost stories. They covered various topics and a few I had heard before. None were very scary, but entertaining. An enjoyable listen and the narrator was nice and clear.

Creepy True Happenings
I found this book to be creepy beyond creepy. These stories are reportedly happenings to adults and children alike and it gave me pause to think about the ghostly dimension. I found the book to be extremely interesting because it kept me listening to each story. I would definitely recommend this book if you are interested in true ghostly encounters. This is my honest unbiased review.

Good Collection of Paranormal Stories
As a fan of all the supernatural, I found this book was a good collection. As with most of the collections of supernatural stories they just never seem long enough and usually have a mix of well known and some not so well known stories. The stories are well told and I was only familiar with a few of the stories and felt the rest, albeit short, were interesting and are a great add to my collection of stories. I feel a lot of these collections have started to become redundant with their stories so if you feel you have heard everything, give this one a shot. Jack Roughman did a good job with the narration. I thought his voice was perfect for the retelling of the accounts. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

Ghost Stories: True Stories, True Haunted House
The first part of this book is a collection of short true horror stories. Each one is a quick tale of horror and the unexplained. If you enjoy campfire stories you will love this part. Each story is told as if you were sitting around a campfire telling ghost stories. This is an interesting collection of true horror stories that give short versions of what happened.
The second part of the book gives you some examples of folklore and horror stories. You get two samurai stories and one pirate story. These are old tales passed down over the ages.
The next part is stories about paranormal events. Tales about regular people who have had strange and scary things happen to them.
Narrator Jack Roughman excitedly narrates these stories as if he and the listeners are sitting around at night telling stories to try and out scare each other. Some stories have conclusions and others are open ended. This book comes with a chapter at the end about being aware and not discounting ghosts and unexplained things that happen to you or others. Which was unexpected but if you enjoy spooky tales this is a collection that will entertain you without truly scaring you.
