About this listen

Deliver Us from Evil is a diary of Ed and Lorraine Warren’s most startling investigations. First published in 1973, it is the earliest book about Ed and Lorraine Warren, who went on to become the world’s most famous demonologists and paranormal investigators.

Almost everyone has experienced one form of supernatural activity or another; some have been driven to destruction by it. This audiobook deals with the investigations and reports of supernatural activities such as the case of the demons that drove an 18-year-old girl to practice human vampirism.

Every story in this audiobook is true, only the names of people or places have been changed to protect the living and the dead.

Don’t miss the Warrens' blockbuster films like the Conjuring series, the Annabelle series, and The Nun.

The narrator.

He was very good with how he read and made it so you could tell between just the reading and the acting out parts

Not worth a credit

While I like books like this, Amazon shouldn’t be charging a whole credit for a book of short ghost stories that have little to do with the Warrens.

Not like the others

I've listened to most of the other books about the Warren's and this one is not the same. The other books told the entire story of each topic and gave the end result, this one did not.

It was ok

I enjoy pretty much anything regarding Ed and Loraine Warren. There wasn't much detail in what they said or did to help out all the people affected by negative entities. Just when a story was getting good, it would end.

Dramatized Ghost Stories

An entertaining listen, if you want some one off ghost stories based around the Warrens. Narrator doesn't make an effort to differentiate between male characters, especially frustrating when using quotes from Ed.

The stories often have no resolution, and the endings are cheesey with the over dramatic wordings. Each chapter is an unrelated story. The Warrens are hardly mentioned and are almost made to seem ineffective in thier work.

More sensational than informative or educational about the Warrens and thier work. This piece doesn't hold a black candle to The Demonologist. Skip this one, and get that instead. It's is gold.

Other Warrens Books are better.

The stories were captivating but there were no resolutions for any of them. It leaves you wondering what happened to the people.

its a good book

it's a good book but if you listened to the other books you'll see that this one isn't like the rest. but if you follow the Warren's then you have to listen to all books involving them
