Reincarnated as the War God - he has a lot to learn to live up to that title.
His power is only as good as the skill he possesses to wield it. But there is a reason the former War God fell. He can only dare to imagine what foes lie in wait. He will have to build a team out of a former shield maiden, an elven sorceress intent on hiding her power, a beautiful lycan who doesn't trust anyone, and a mortal-hating fire celestial. What could be hard about that?
This book contains some adult content and is intended for a mature audience.

As far as harem goes, this has one (loosely), but it's a slow build up to it with lots of sexual tension. Following up on that, there's actually only one full-on sex scene in this one. Compared to his other books, I was pleasantly surprised by this. I don't mind lots of sex scenes, even if they're really descriptive, I just don't want them becoming the padding in the book for length...or becoming the focus. This book has a good feel in this area.
The characters are pretty good of course, they stay within the confines of what you may start to identify as their character...sometimes frustratingly so. But that's just part of consistency.
Piggy-backing off the characters, the narration is perfect for how I imagine them. That and I've come to enjoy every book I've heard so far that these two voice for.
My only gripe, and it's a minor one, is the pacing of the MC's power. It almost felt like the author couldn't quite fine tune it. Like, at points, it seems like an understandably slow build-up as he discovers his own potential, and then boom he just kinda...gets it. But then after he gets it nothing really happens for a while to really test it. it's almost as if the author was aware of this, threw in a road block for the MC at the last minute so it doesn't feel too fast, and then removed just as quickly when it was convenient for the plot. This method seemed to have been washed, rinsed, and repeated multiple times throughout, but thankfully it wasn't done so blatantly as to be jarring so I can forgive it.
TL;DR It's good, for real! looking forward to the next book!
Love it!

The book starts off great with action and not a slow beginning. Never a dull moment in the book.
Amazing

But it is pretty light on harem aspect, which, let's be honest, is one of the main reason we're all here.
The Descend series was much better imho.
This whole series is pretty light on harem
