This whole series will have you laughing, pissed off, and ready to slap someone throughout its entirety. This series is a must read. Patricia Floyd is an awesome narrator. I get excited to see her name pop up on an audible book. I know she’s going to bring the drama and emotion with her voice.

Mary Monroe never disappoints!

Great storyline……I had to get used to Annette being a little villainous compared to her being a victim as in the previous books in the series. In addition, it was dragging out the obvious and I just wanted to finally get to the point with Pee Wee. However, as with all of the books in this series, I’m glad I read it and am looking forward to the next.

Dragged just a bit

It felt like I’d read it before. Not sure if it because I use to follow her closely when I was younger or if the story is a repeat. The climax happened late in the plot and it was barely a fizzle compared to other storylines.

Not bad

Awesome read. Looking forward to the next read in the God series with Annette and Rhoda.

Great book, but I love Mary Monroe and every book I've read from her so far. I can't wait to find out what happens in the last two books.

I love it! Super great!

Nice to see that Rhoda's character has settled down somewhat with age. Mary Monroe will remain on my list of good reads.

very true to the prequels

Annette was not a prostitute like she kept implying. per her story she turned 3 tricks, that part was frustrating

crazy

I enjoy this series because it passes time for me at work without getting too distracted; however, the book is extremely descriptive and repetitive at times.

Additionally, I was a little disappointed with this story because I felt that the personalities of the main character and her husband was opposite of that in the previous book. It just seemed unlikely to me. I liked that they were in love with each other. In one book they are one way, and then totally opposite in the next. Perhaps if there were a story leading up to the events, the transition would have been easier. I don't want to spoil the ending so I won't say too much except that whatever happened to love and trust and faith?

Overall, still a great listen. I will be getting the next book.

Hope this helps.
