About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

Read by award-winning narrator Jeff Harding.

**NOW A MAJOR PRIME TV SERIES STARRING ALAN RITCHSON**

Suicide bombers are easy to spot.
They give out all kinds of tell-tale signs. There are twelve things to look for. No one who has worked in law enforcement will ever forget them.

New York City. The subway, two o'clock in the morning.
Jack Reacher studies his fellow passengers. Four are OK. The fifth isn't.
The train brakes for Grand Central Station.

Will Reacher intervene, and save lives?
Or is he wrong? Will his intervention cost lives - including his own?

Enhances his status as a mythic avenger. . .You'll be left with a thumping heart and a racing pulse but, be warned, Chapter 63 will give you nightmares." (Evening Standard)

Although the Jack Reacher novels can be listened to in any order, Gone Tomorrow is 13th in the series.

‘Jeff Harding’s [...] narration captures Reacher’s character perfectly [...] you have to savour every minute.’ The Sunday Times

Reacher grabs your attention with the "List" and keeps it with cleverness and guile. The finale is pure Reacher and Worth the listen in itself !
I think the Narrater should have been Reacher in the movie - even if he is too short (?) his voice is Reachers voice to me.

My Favourite Reacher story

This is an average Jack Teacher story. this time though he isn't bulletproof or knife proof.
His charm and presences gets him out of most trouble.
Worth a listen for every Reacher fan.

Standard Teacher story

i normally love this character, but i'm getting a bit bored with him. the book has an absolutely brilliant beginning and completely draws you in, but reacher is (literally and figuratively) getting a bit old.

it's a bit like a re-hash of his older novels, except it's written in the first person, which is rather odd. but come on jack, it's 2011! i refuse to believe someone could still be so technologically illiterate. learn how to use a computer/mobile phone etc. my mum's nearly 80 and she is more techno-literate than Reacher! it's really beginning to stretch credulity and my patience.

overall a solid, (but apart from first few chapters), unexciting listen.

getting a bit same-ish
