Este audiolibro fue de gran ayuda cuando estaba cuidando a un familiar con Alzheimer. Explicó todo en un lenguaje simple y claro, lo que lo hizo fácil de entender incluso cuando me sentía abrumado. Guía compasiva
No cuido personalmente a alguien con Alzheimer, pero he explorado muchos recursos sobre la demencia en general, y este audiolibro es uno de los más útiles y accesibles que he encontrado. Incluso como alguien fuera de este mundo, me pareció revelador y profundamente humano. No solo se centra en la persona con Alzheimer, sino que también recuerda a los cuidadores la importancia de cuidarse a sí mismos. También lo encontré enriquecedor y lleno de sabiduría aplicable a la vida en general. La narración es clara y fácil de seguir, convirtiéndolo en una escucha esencial para cuidadores y familias

Este libro me ayudó a entender mejor los retos del Alzheimer. Los consejos prácticos sobre cómo manejar el día a día son realmente útiles. Ahora realmente lo entiendo
Mientras observaba a mi prima luchar por cuidar a mi tía con Alzheimer, no pude evitar desear haber encontrado este audiolibro antes. Las historias y situaciones descritas aquí reflejan tantos de los desafíos que ella enfrentó – el desgaste emocional, el constante malabarismo de responsabilidades, y esos momentos desgarradores cuando su propia madre no la reconocía. A través de su experiencia, vi lo aislante y abrumador que puede ser ser un cuidador, pero no entendí completamente la profundidad de lo que estaba pasando hasta que escuché este audiolibro. Recomiendo enormemente este audiolibro a cualquier persona que esté cuidando a un ser querido con Alzheimer o cualquier forma de demencia, o a cualquiera que busque entender más sobre lo que un cuidador podría estar atravesando.

ayudándome a cuidar a mi madre
Convertirme en el cuidador de mi madre fue una de las cosas más difíciles que he hecho. Hay tantas cosas que saber y me sentía abrumado. Encontré este audiolibro que hace un trabajo increíble explicando qué esperar y ofrece sugerencias para superar los obstáculos con los que me he encontrado. El libro está bien escrito, y el narrador hace un trabajo increíble y es muy fácil de entender y seguir. Estoy agradecido por este libro, ya que ahora siento que puedo hacer el mejor trabajo para mi madre.
