Publisher's summary

"Sing, gypsies, sing of your lies...."

That old song plays in my head as the world turns around me faster than it has ever turned. Monsters and mayhem. That's become my life. Fear and apprehension. That's become the normal for those around me. Dread and distraction. That's what has interrupted my own personal romance story with my mon-star quad. Vengeance and retribution. That was the theme of the monster world long before I landed in it, and it's starting to heat up more than ever.

I guess it's time to see if I can handle being in the middle, because that's where I'm about to put myself. My mother always did accuse me of being a masochist. I'm starting to think she must be right.

Either they love me, or they love her. I suppose it's time to find out who wins. I don't fight pretty, and I'm not that great at smack talk. It's not that they're not worth fighting for. I just don't want to have to fight for them. Not when when I'm fighting bigger battles already. Either we're in this together, or I'm on my own. That's for them to decide on their own.

Let the games begin.

Contains mature themes.

Wow!!!

***SOME SPOILERS***

This book is probably my favorite book so far in this series. There were so many things right with this book. From finally meeting that sadistic heffa Eden to Emmett claiming her as his mate, even with Arian at last opening his eyes to what everyone was talking about in regards to his luke warm feelings when it came to Eden plus everything in between, I'm more hooked than I was with the first book. My emotions were all over this story and those sex scenes.... my oh my. I haven't read a series that has completely enraptured my attention for a while. And I'm almost sad to read the last book. But 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, and if they ever turn this into a movie or a show (please) I'm front row and center to watch it.

I truly love yet despise this series all at once

if it wasn't for the fact that Kristy cunning portrays it as romantic to abuse and violate the person you love this would be the perfect series. Kristy is imaginative unpredictable and funny in her writing but I really hope in real life she doesn't believe it's acceptable for men to treat women that way.

For the first 2/3rds of the book I was cheering Violet. She stood up for herself finally and stopped those men from treating her like a doormat sex-doll. Although it still truly sickens me that they barely had to apologize before they were allowed to fuck her and treat her like shit again. I was so ridiculously pleased after 4 books.
I still get so upset about how the people who supposedly "love" her still see her as weak and stupid. How can they not see that she's an alpha? If simpleton alphas act like omegas and she's stronger how can people with millennia of experience not see it? On top of that if she's the first and only of her kind she is also an "original" monster, also making her an alpha. How can they possibly believe that a lack of violence is a weakness? Its ridiculous. For 4 books Violet walks around with her eyes closed and now Damien, Vance, Emmett, Aryan, AND Martha are doing the same. How can Martha of all people not see it? Not a single one of them asks her for her thoughts or feelings on anything whatsoever. Or takes them into any sort of account in their decision-making how is that possibly love? It doesn't matter how much you give to someone it's how you treat them and whether or not you respect them that makes them yours.

I adore this series

I think you should think about what more trouble our little violet and her 4 aphas can adore in, so we can carry on sequels of this story to make it to book 7 8 9 and 10 at least to 10 even its to bring Anna to immortality to stand beside her when it comes to war also would be great for her to have more and more unique monsters that she hapled take care of like Jasper the shifter and vampire mix with other unique breeds to stand along side of her to help her fight would be so perfect epic more epic then vampire diaries the TV series cause I see all this going down in my mind with every detail each narrators have complished to do excellent job!!!

No spoilers

I love Cunning/Owens books there not just sex sex sex. There's a story that goes along with spicy. The first 2 to 3 books went slowly for me which is really unusual for this author. But because I love the writing and characters created with her books I went with it. Boy was I glad each book after 3 1/2 books picked up nicely. A really really good story one that you have to follow closely from the beginning if you don't you will be lost. All the book's are a bit dark with action some suspense and Cunnings brand of humor which I love. This was my favorite so far everything comes together lol so I think I know there are more surprises in store for the next one can't wait for the audio. Narration with Moran/Grindell was literally fantastic they both do the voices and personalities very well and look forward to listening to more by both. If paranormal or harem books aren't your thing Cunning writes under the name C.M Owens and dose such a wide range of books that are VERY GOOD such a talented author. Highly recommend both narration and author.

Hilarious

*****minor spoilers******

I love this book. The characters are a hoot and it’s just an honestly entertaining read.

Violet raised Iduns entire house and quickly decides that the simpletons are her ward and she’s going to take care of them. She moves them all back to their town and purchases a ton down hotel to house them all. Shortly after she begins. Idun FINALLY shows up. And Idun tv begins.

There is a 5 month time jump in this book and honestly I loved it. Usually I don’t like time jumps. All the boys are so obsessed with what Idun is going to do with they basically neglect Violet completely.

Reading Her breaking up with them was honestly hilarious. I don’t think I would’ve lasted five months.

ANNAs back! God I missed Anna.

This book was basically been trying to win her back after being completely stupid curious to see what the last spoke will be like since it finally seems like the relationship is solid ish.

I feel like Idun was overplayed. She’s his big powerful gypsy but honestly, she seems like a woman who just throws a temper tantrum because she couldn’t get for manipulated falling in love with her.

Another Pet peeve of mine is that they keep saying the violet is the omega. She’s naïve. She’s young basically anyway to say she’s stupid and doesn’t know what she’s talking about in reality brilliant and knows exactly what she’s doing.
