About this listen

Book one in the now-completed Dark Codes reverse harem series!

The thing that makes me special is also the reason I’ve been kidnapped.

Somewhere in my head, I have access to a code, given to me at the moment my world collapsed. It’s what my kidnappers want - all four of them - and their mysterious boss whose very name makes my heart beat faster.

Hard men. Criminals, I’m sure. Willing to do anything to break me, and take what they want.

But locked in the dark, I soon realize it’s not only what’s in my head they’re after. The glint in their eyes, lingering touches, and heavy breaths tell a different story.

Darcy, we’re here; we’re watching you.

Now, I have to decide if I want to become part of that story, too....

A whole lot of nothing was said

More than halfway through the book and how Fing boring. The MFC get kidnapped and the MMC’s spend a lot of time telling her nothing but gaslighting her to believe they were protecting her. Yeah we get it, they were trying to protect her…but they kidnapped her, hurt her (unintentionally is mentioned so often it’s stupid), provide her with no information, and than punish her because she keeps trying to escape.

Welp here it goes.....

Ok so I'm going to be honest.... this book could of been a 10 of 12 hour single book. It was a lot of repetition, the angst was annoying, out of all 3 books she only had sex with with 4/5 guys once, I'm no nympho but it's missing the harem part imo. the narration was ok... but the fmc was irrational, a little whiny, and just stupid in so many of the scenes. The way each book ends so abruptly with a flat "the end" makes me think this was DRAAAAAAGGED OUT for no reason other than to make more money lol (but I guess don't hate the player, hate the game). Yes I got all 3 because who doesn't want to know how a series ends once you started it. If not for this reason I probably would return it, I doubt I'll listen again.

I loved this book, when I read it myself. I could not listen to this narrator.
