This was a fun listen. Paul Brad Logan provides many additional details to the film and some interesting deviations. I've listened to all three audiobooks from this trilogy and I think this one enhances the overall experience the most.

Great companion piece.

Love this book, it’s even better than the movie it’s self, would definitely read again

I, like so many others, was beyond disappointed with the movie and considered purchasing the book for awhile. Finally decided to go for it and I’m glad I did. It’s more descriptive, it lets things breathe.

The biggest complaint is the same with the movie - a too quick, almost anticlimactic ending to the Laurie/Michael saga. What a shame.

Still work a listen in my opinion

Much better than the movie.

The book is great, but the narrator’s lisp is very distracting. The story is great, but the narrator’s speech impediment distracts from the story.

The narrator has a lisp

i feel like this new Halloween trilogy would've been better off as a streaming miniseries because the added scenes makes it so much better

Don’t be fooled by the title and loop it in with the movie. This adaptation of the movie is 1,000,000 times better than the movie.

Anyone let down by the film should check this out. More coherent. Vast improvement.

Half of this book is comprised of scenes and material that is NOT in the movie. It helps explain and bridge plot points, and when it does directly adapt scenes from the film, it does it in a quick fashion. I commend the writer for making something that directly compliments the film and I sincerely wish more books would take cues from this style.

How a Novelization should be!
