addictive, suspenseful, sad, and much more!

The narrator does a better job, in this final book, of his female voices. He has, throughout the series, done a wonderful job of accents.

The first wonderful thing about this book is, the author immediately picks up from where she left off, and book 3. The cliffhanger from book 3 is immediately addressed! in this final book of the series, Alec definitely deals with some life-changing situations. He continues to protect some of the most vulnerable people of society! You will not be disappointed with this book, and you might be wondering if there is more to come. I don’t think there is more to come, but the author has definitely left the story so that she can pick it up at any time.

Demon or Angel?

To the people who harm others, Alec Winters appears as a demon. To the people who are the victims, Alec Winters appears as an angel. Alec has a calling to help those being exploited by others, but in book 4 Alec is reeling from a personal loss. Will he be able to continue his mission? Chariss Walker has taken the reader into some of the darkest places a person can go through the writing of this series and yet when viewed through the eyes of the victim the author has provided a savior. What a fascinating series this has been. I recommend the series to others with the admonishment that some very dark themes are written about in this series. Walt Allen's narration was excellent. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

It just gets better

The Winter's family progress through their spiritual journey in this second book of the series. I look forward to my drive each day while listening and am disappointed upon arriving to walk away mid story. I am thoroughly enjoying this series!
