About this listen

The first three novels in the best-selling Phantom Queen Diaries: Whiskey Ginger, Cosmopolitan, and Old Fashioned.

My name is Quinn MacKenna, and magic doesn’t work on me.

When I’m not getting roped into bar brawls in Boston, I’m usually acquiring - stealing is a form of acquisition, you know - dangerous magical artifacts to turn around and sell them to the highest bidders.

But I prefer to be paid in favors, not money. Because favors are a hot commodity in the Land of the Fae. Favors are the only currency that will buy the answers I seek: Why magic doesn’t work on me, and who my real father is.

Everything was going so well...until I accidentally stole something from a wizard named Nate Temple in St. Louis. That’s the day my life changed forever.

EPIC,AMAZING, FUN!!!!

Awesome isn't even the right word,I don't think there is a word that could compare to this book! It is so amazing! The characters are confusing to remember them all... but at the same time they're all an intrical part of the story, and help piece this magical book together! It is so fun too! Yeah, not another stupid y a romance book!

Don't second guess buying this book.

I love the narrators skill at being the characters to life. I often text some off the one liners to friends. amazing linguistics gymnastics of funny and sarcasm.

Finally a great female narrator for a kick ass story!

I’ve never completed a series with a female narrator before.. Amanda Lee Cobb did an outstanding job narrating the characters in this omnibus. If you like fairytale characters, fantasy monsters, action, and snarky banter then this book is for you. My only recommendation is that you may want to check out the Nate temple series 1st. As this book comes in halfway into the temple verse storyline. Great job Silvers and O’Connell and rocking performance Amanda.

This was awesome!

I've always loved science fiction, but this series is in another level! It's fast paced, it's hilarious, and I wish it will go on forever.
The whole thing becomes even more enjoyable if you listen to it in Audible. Love the narrator!

I'm pretty excited to read the next one

this week was actually really good there was storyline character development I think maybe even one semi sex scene but it completely cut out before all the good parts came in. the story is going places for all of the books predict ability there is a lot of unpredictable tea about it too what I like SMH. Not trying to sound like a dick I'm just saying there are characters that if you are as well versed as I am in Supernatural and a cult history you will automatically know who they are and what they are before they tell you their names and there other times that you will just be absolutely fucking surprised and flabbergasted I found this book looking for Quincy Harker books they're completely unrelated but the same time they're completely fuckingawesome I would definitely suggest you give this book of read.

Thoroughly enjoyed

Every since I first stumbled upon Shayne Silvers I have been hooked. His Templeverse is full of characters that are very relatable despite the fact they are freaks or gods. I would recommend any of Shayne Silvers’ to anyone that enjoys action and magic and lively characters.

Not too stupid to live

I've been frustrated lately by urban fantasy books written by male authors where the female characters only survived because their breastly endowments distracted the badguys. This one was much better than the norm, and I did enjoy the books.

great book

I loved the book but it seemed to get a slow start. I laughed a lot though. the narrator was awesome and really made Quinn come alive. she does not do a great job with the other characters voices though. but that's not going to keep me from listening. I need to hear more of Quinn's jokes and out bursts 🤣
