I’m going to be honest here: When I started reading this, I didn’t expect to be so entertained by these books and I was pleasantly surprised.

You get to meet Louisa and Ward through this box set and they certainly have interesting backgrounds and stories. This set is part of a series, but I did not feel that I missed any important information by not reading the previous stories.

There were moments that I did get frustrated with the characters actions and choices, but I feel like that can happen with any story. Although a few moments , I wos like please stop feeling insecure and tell the important information/ do the task you need to do, to get on with the storyline.

The narrator, Sarah Beth Goer, I find that I really enjoyed both the male and female voices. Other narrators of various genders may have a tough time doing the opposite male or female voices, but Sarah did an excellent job.

I highly recommend this box set, the author and narrator. I do think I will read more stories by the author and narrated stories by the narrator.

This was a great boxed set. I hate when I find a story I love and it ends too quickly, so I loved how it went right on to the next story. The character and plot build kept me interested the entire time. Both the author and narrator did a great job! It could be enjoyed as a standalone, but now I really want to go back and listen to volume 1! I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
