I loved this 2nd installment in the Beast of Bishops Landing series. I liked Leo and Hailey’s story. Five Stars across the board on this one and on to the final part. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The story would’ve been good, also the adaptation to BandtB is pretty good … BUT… the girl is immensely useless, stupid, incapable, inept. I’ve read all three installments in this series and it’s not worth it. Leo Morelli deserved a better partner in the Midnight Dynasty world. *SPOILER ALERT*
The book is at least good to let us know part of why Constantine’s and Morelli’s are eternally in war. Caroline is a bit$@#… Leo is in permanent pain because of her.
I understand that part of the sexual/love connection between the MCs is that she is so incredibly helpless, naïve, … I would say idiot… but it’s too much. How does she get dressed alone?!?! She is way too helpless to have any redeeming quantities to be liked.

This does leave off on a cliff hanger... and I will read the next book.
