Publisher's summary

Liam Cameron is certain he's died and gone to heaven when he opens his eyes to the angel before him. But the pain that wracks his body proves he is still Earth-bound. Keira Murray MacKail saved Liam's life - and he has some enticing ways he would like to thank her. Soon, lust gives way to a feeling much more profound for a woman whose battles he wants to fight…though he fears the most difficult one will be for her heart.

Keira quickly learns that Liam has danger chasing him. As her healing kindness frees him to tell his tale, she confides the trouble that plagues her: She is a laird's widow now responsible for saving a small village pillaged by cruel invaders. But even as Liam makes the crusade to reclaim her lands his own, he will face a far greater challenge to win her trust - and her love - for all time.

Trouble with Twins!

Liam & Keira
I want to say that this is a Part 1 to two stories. Keira is a twin and while she is the focal point of this story, her twin has her own story in the next book to the series! I have always loved Liam Cameron ever since we met the Cameron and McFingles. This story we some old characters caters as well as meet some new . The Murrays are a big family and the family is intertwined with so many other families now. It truly is a saga. This is a great story and great narrator! Start at the beginning it is so worth it.

yay Liams story!!

So this book is part 1 of two, happening (time wise,) the same time as the next book, #12; Highland Lover, bc THIS one's MFC is Keira. Book #12's is about her twin, Alana, the MFC of 12. I've listened to both, aswell as the whole series starting at book#1 & they're all absolutely amazing. a fabulous narrator, many twists & turns & even some giggles! The only thing I wouldn't recommend is listening to any of this series in your car only if you have kids in the back! 😉 😜 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶😊

Highland Champion

This is the 11th book in the Murray family series. Liam woke up from being horribly beaten. The first thing he sees is Keira a woman who turns out to be a healer. He is smitten with her immediately. But their courtship is not without trials and war. His past is knocking on his door. Her past is brutal and with much violence but she must go back and save the people from her dead husbands keep. A viscous knight has stolen the keep that is now hers. Both working together they just might right the many wrongs. And the journey is not without the rest of the clans coming to join them. I had read this years ago and loved it then. I listened to this and enjoyed the journey given by the narrator.

Love strong lasses

Keira is a strong and resourceful woman. Which made this book a delight to read. I especially like the added effect of the strong feelings Keira gets about people. This book had just enough action.

I love Hannah Howell but not Kiera

I love her books but the woman in this book ticked me off. It's still ok. Narrator was great too

Highland Champion

This series is so addictive. As soon as you finish one book you immediately start the next one in order. These are excellent stories with each unique unto itself. I don’t know how Hannah Howell gets so many great ideas. And with Angela Dawe doing the narration it is a fine package with a big bow. 🎁

Liam

This entire series is awesome. While each book is unique, characters are brought forward through out. No cliff hangers. Most have epilogues.
While this is Liam’s story, included are; Maldie & Balfour’s grandaughter, brother Matthew, Sigimor & crew, Fiona & family, great new characters introduced.
I think the MFC demonstrates far too much guilt for events that occured completely out of her control. Beyond that, she’s a great character.
Excellent narration.
These are comfort reads for me.

Twooo Beasties In Your Hair

This is handsome Liam’s story. If you loved the silky tone of Fiona’s voice #9 and the spunk of Sigimor wit #10&8, then this story is for you. Twin sister of Alana book 12 and twin brothers Lucas and Artan, The Barbarian. This story has rich dialogue not to be missed if you are multi tasking, Eg, when Thunder and Lighting are found. Liam’s replies are so delightful that you fall in love with this series all over again.
I love narrator Ms Dawe for this series...she has the best interpretation of the historic Scotts accent hands down. I have the stories out of order as I buy the stories with strong heroines or the most spunky of wit. Books #5,6,10 are not to be missed.
If you start the series straight through, know the first 4 books are very dramatic and frankly I like wit and more humor, hence starting with #5 and laughing you head off.
I do use the 1.25x speed to match the adventure.
The publishers summery is spot on so no need to add to it.
Were my comments of help?
