About this listen

Childhood neighbors, enemies, best friends, lovers, enemies, Sires lineman Terrence Ford and his ex-wife, Krystle, have meant all these things to each other.

Once believing their union was indestructible, they find themselves unhappily apart.

Maybe what they see as an ending is really the beginning of a stronger bond and a deeper understanding of what love really is.

Holding is a novel that offers intimacy, healing, and forever.

Contains mature themes.

So happy the second one to the series came out I’m so addicted and definitely not a disappointment. Both of the Raiders were great, but that Jakobi Diem absolute fave.

Storyline

I love that she hit on mental issues again. I love the reader, always. It didn't pull me in like her usually stories and took me a while to stay hooked in some parts, or they were predictable.

Another One.......

Loved it. The narrators were on point as usual. I appreciate spot lighting mental health and keeping it entertaining with that A House touch. I related personally on many levels and I am a generation or two above the characters in the story line meaning mental health is not an immature thing.

However I did feel that the ending just ended, like there was more to this ended altered perhaps.

Waiting on #3.

She did it again

I love how Alexandria continues to keep us entertained! I love how she keeps the past characters present! I feel like Big South is a real person! This book did have a few mental health triggers, and I’m glad she Chicken was able to get help. Ford might be my new book bae!

It Ate

This has been on my TBR for some months now and I’m not sure why it took me so long to read it because it definitely was worth the read. House just can’t seem to do a book wrong and I am loving all of her material. On to the next.

Childhood besties to lovers

This was a very entertaining second book. After reading the first book I didn’t think this one would be as good…boy was I wrong. The author does a real good job developing the characters and also bringing the audience up to speed with the then and now. I have to do my research and find out if the author is from Arkansas. In both books she has references Little Rock, AR. In this book she mentioned Philander Smith College…which is not a huge college so many ppl may not know about it.

Overall, this is a good book to read. There’s romance, friendship and family displayed in different ways through both book.

Hot Heads

This is the 2nd book in the series. When I tell y’all it was a quick read of up and downs. Between finding your soulmate and fighting mental illness. Alexandria has down her big in this book as well as the 1st book.

The ride with Chicken and Ford

The narration was too good. The present and the past writing was interwoven to provide the context to why Ford and Krystal love each other so much despite everything. The mental illness narrative was done beautifully. Loved them even more than Jones and Nora in book 1 and I never would have quessed that. Highly recommend!
