Publisher's summary

In this third novel of Melody Anne's exciting Lost Andersons series, another of the children of Richard Storm reacts to their father's ultimatum.

Megawealthy Tanner Storm has it all: great looks, wealth, and nothing holding him down. Then his father decides to play games with him and his siblings, handing him an apartment complex in downtown Seattle that Tanner wants nothing to do with. When the conditions of his father's terms ensure that he does something with this building or loses his inheritance, he at first thinks, "So what?" But then it becomes a challenge that he has to accept, because he's never before backed down.

He decides to tear down the building and start fresh with something far more appealing that will add to his already fat wallet. The only problem is that the residents don't want to leave, and under the contract with his father, he can't force them out. When he ends up before Judge Kragle from all the complaints made against him, the judge decides the best punishment for him will be two weeks of living in the very apartment complex he despises and two weeks of community service, playing Santa Claus at the mall. Perfect! This is not the Christmas of his dreams.

The plot thickens when he meets his neighbor, Kyla, and falls into instant lust. Will this turn out to be Tanner's secret angel, or will he forget all about her the minute he leaves?

Love the Anderson

Tanner is one strong headed man. Kyla is one compassionate woman. They are from two totally different back grounds. Love the Kyla makes Tanner see things through her eyes. Loved this story.

OMG

this series is just wonderful, wish it could go on forever. Each story (although too short), is better than the last and the first 2 were awesome!! So sad I only have 2 more😭

Creative and coming back for more

Very tastefully written and narrated excellently. Hubby was wondering what's got into me, LOL. Very hot and steamy. ABSOLUTELY captivating and creative writing that draws you in and keeps you entertained for hours.

Just Awful

This was the worst book I've listened to in a very long time. The characters and dialogue were cliche and underdeveloped. Tanner, the male main character, was totally unlikeable. The dialogue was stiff, hokey and overly dramatic, and the narrator was just awful. Her male voice made every guy sound the same and sound like an 80 year old. I struggled to finish. The first book in the series was terrible and I thought it would get better but it's only gotten progressively worse. I can't listen to anymore!

Fair book and terrible narration..

This could have been better if the author had spent more time on the characters’ looks. Kyla had blue eyes and that was it. I have no clue what she really looked like. And no idea what Tanner looked like either. The book would say she was beautiful and he was built like a god. That makes for a bad read.

Tanner was self-centered and arrogant through the entire book, except for the last chapter. It was really hard to like him when he kept thinking about getting home and living like he was used to and how horrible the building was and how horrible the kids were when he had to play Santa for 3 weeks for his community service. His thoughts were mostly terrible. Kyla was much better and I thought she deserved better than Tanner. Really, all he thought about was getting out and getting Kyla in his bed, under him, tasting her, yada, yada, yada.

There were 3 explicit sex scenes and very little swearing.

As to the narration: Samantha Cook was terrible. She thought that she just had to roughen her female voice and that would be fine as a man? Umm, no. It sounded just like a roughened female voice, nothing like a man. Also, she was soooo boring when she read. Through the entire book she sounded like a robot. I would never want to listen to her again. Therefore, I won’t be listening to any more of these books since she narrated them all.
