Publisher's summary

The one person standing between me and organizational heaven at the small-town brewery I inherited with my sisters is brewmaster Sean O'Dell. Can you believe the pig-headed and too-hot-for-his-own-good man shoots down every change I want to make? Especially when I have the color-coded spreadsheets and charts to prove that a little something different is exactly what's needed.

And he thinks that his strong but silent act is going to make me back down? He couldn't be more wrong.

The man is hiding something behind all his sexy scruff, and I'm going to find out exactly what it is. What I'm not going to do though is give in to the white-hot attraction between us making me want to undo a few of my buttoned-up sweaters and finally figure find out what would happen if I finally let loose.

Contains mature themes.

Disappointed

This book was not what I typically expect from Avery Flynn. There were several fillers regarding Natalie and her pearls which felt like verbiage to add to the volume of the book. I’ll skip the next one in the series.

If you like repetitive nonsense

Some of her books are really charming, I wanted to like this one after listening to the first book.
I like the overall story line, but this 2nd book was so repetitive in descriptive verbiage it was hard to listen to.
We get it. She smelled of honeysuckle. She liked her damn pearls. It took away from the actual attraction you wanted for these characters.
Weak background story too. We’re to believe he’s a tough brewing master who wants to save this brewery but he’s got daddy issues?

Cute but short

not sure if this one was worth the credit. I probably should have waited for it to go on sale because it's such a short story. very entertaining for a day read

This series is so fun!

A great second book in the series - I liked both of these characters in book one, but we really get to know the background of Sean, new brewmaster, a former Hollywood actor who ran after a terrible incident with his father and the industry and is hiding out in his new small town.

We also get to know how different triplet Natalie is from the others, with her terrible anxiety but that she’s overcome a lot of the crippling trauma and comes up with great coping mechanisms and strategies, making her great at organizing and turning around the business… which is exactly what they need.

The brewery continues through their issues with the town but seeing the budding romance between Sean and Natalie is just so satisfying - another great book! This series definitely needs to be read in order.

Narrated by Charlotte North, who is one of my very faves, she makes this series so much better in audio. Make sure you get the audio version instead of the ebooks!

Great story!

I am loving this series! My only complaint is that the stories are too short! Love the characters.

So glad I got this on sale

I really enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to listening to the follow ups but this one wasn’t good. I never got into either character. Natalie treatment of Sean after the reveal and towards the end was weird and unwarranted. Also, the book as a whole felt rush at times. There should have been less subplots so that the author could have focused on the main things.
