Caroline Abbott loves her job - helping engaged couples pick out the perfect save-the-date cards and invitations for their dream wedding. Working at Noteworthy means she has to deal with the occasional bridezilla, but Caroline’s always up for the challenge.
Until one particular bridezilla walks into the stationery store whose fiancé happens to be the boy Caroline shared her first kiss with. Alexander Wilder is all grown up now, helping run his family’s successful luxury hotel chain, and is somehow even better looking than she remembers.
When Caroline just happens to catch Alex’s fiancée half naked with another man, well, of course she has to tell Alex. Of course, he breaks off his engagement. And of course, the ex-bridezilla has gone completely bonkers.
At least Caroline has her friends to save her from crazy ex-fiancées. But she also has the sudden interest of...Alex? Caroline knows they share a connection, but is he on the rebound? Or after seeing her all these years later, does he really want something more?

I really liked Caroline Abbott, she is someone that I could easily be friends with. Working at Noteworthy she specializes in Save The Date and wedding invitations meaning she deals with a variety of brides.
Caroline is shocked when her latest bride’s fiancee turns out to be someone Caroline once knew, Alexander Wilder.
Alex was the first boy Caroline ever kissed and has always held a special place in her heart.
After discovering his fiancee has been cheating, Alex calls the wedding off and instead embarks on a journey of self discovery with Caroline.
Alex is most certainly swoon worthy and I loved the slow burn of the relationship as it built with Caroline.
Caroline’s friends were awesome and just as quirky as her. I really loved how supportive they were.
This is a sweet, romantic, second chance at love story that ticked the boxes for me. Extremely well written this story will take you on a fabulous journey that will leave you with a smile on your face. The narration by Ava Lucas and Jack DuPont was spot on and kept me thoroughly entertained throughout.
Entertaining

It was not terrible but hated the rehashing of the events over and over in detail, like we know and the author could have just said “she explained the whole thing again” or anything other than repeating over and over. Some events were repeated over three times and felt like book fillers. Unless one is extremely forgetful, there was no need.
The performance was okay. The person reading the female part did well trying to convey different characters. I just couldn’t get over Alex not having a deep voice. Threw me off at times.
If you are looking for mindless romance without depth, this would be okay. The story as is did not sweep me off my feet at all.

The narration was just okay. I found the parts where the male narrator imitated Caroline’s voice to be a bit irritating, but as the character of Alex, his voice was perfect.
Cute, “fluffy” story
