Really Relate to this book

I really enjoyed this book from a personal perspective, because this is a trait that I have developed over my years of being very good at reading people, and this book breaks it down to a science of of how to act in public when you are out, and how to conduct yourself, and read through people's BS!!! great listen you will not be disappointed!!!!

Greats tips and methods!

I have been able to read people, but not especially well or reliably. This book showed me a lot of methods and ways to read people that helped fortify what I already knew, and showed me even more ways! It has been very helpful!!

Great Knowledge

Psychology is an accepted science which studies the mind, but has many flows, and untrue perceptions of the human mind. The most accepted explanation is SIN, AND FORGIVENESS.

Wow! So much great info.

I gave an overall review of 4 stars but everything else I gave 5 stars. This is because even though I really enjoyed this book I felt the title was not a good one and gave the wrong impression of the book. Yes, large parts of the book give insight into how to read people the overall book reads like self-help. Just listen to the conclusion and you will see what I mean.
Parts I love:
The section titled "How past experiences affect our daily habits and beliefs in life" This section is wonderful and I feel to many people don't really see how the past has affected them today. I loved how Christopher Walsh points out that even if the past was negative, it can be used to learn and make a better you in the present. This section also has my favorite quote, "If you know better you would have done better!" Wow, so true but how many of us think about our chooses in the past based on what we know now not what we knew then. This quote alone can change so many negative thoughts we have of ourselves.
In the last section, the conclusion Christopher Walsh reads a poem by Laura Ding Edwards titled The Mountain. This poem was new to me but should be the quote for 2020 in my opinion. Just a little bit, " A day is not a lifetime, a rest is not defeat, don't think of it as failure, just a quiet, kind retreat."
Oh, one last thing this book was narrated by Grant Koper and his voice is just lovely to listen to. I found it very relaxing and soothing.

Great guide how to read people quickly

A really good survey of important areas to consider when trying to quickly read, understand and influence people. It has a good overview and introduction by reviewing basic human psychology and the goes into detail of other areas, including personality types, communication styles, body language, people's motivations and much more. I liked the emphasis on listening, as this skill is getting lost in our busy, fast paced world. That chapter tells you what to listen - and watch for - and explains the many benefits of learning to listen well.
