This is a great, and simple easy read with a rundown of all the basics one should know to prepare for a run at local office. It's a good guide for anyone with no experience interested in running.

If you have been in politics at all this book is a little too basic. It is a good book for those who have never been involved in politics and have no idea how to get started.

This is for very VERY beginners

This book is the definition of dry and boring. I went in to this book realizing it probably wasn't going to be a sci-fi thriller or a amazing book about history, but this book was by far the hardest book ever to pay attention to. It was boring, and very dry, while some of the things the author says might work to actually run for local office, I doubt following this book will help you actually win the race you in.
