About this listen

After being given a terminal diagnosis with only a few weeks to live, Jane McLelland dug up research, some decades old, in her quest to survive. Rather than aiming to cure cancer, which in many cases is unachievable, Jane's approach was to stop it growing. Remarkably, her approach not only stopped it growing, it disappeared altogether. There are now clinics following her protocol, achieving remarkable successes.

An international publishing sensation, this inspirational listen is updated with a new Metro Map, Jane's unique and revolutionary route map to starving cancer. A glossary and index is also included. Written in two sections, Jane intertwines her remarkable life story of terminal cancer to full recovery, describing how she discovered a unique cocktail of off label drugs (drugs usually prescribed for other conditions) and supplements that effectively starve the cancer stem cell, the cell left behind by conventional treatment. Treatment for the stem cell is hailed as the Holy Grail, so this book plugs the missing piece into why we do not have a cure for cancer.

Lead cancer researchers at top oncology centers are now using this book as a guide, and Jane has a huge following of tens of thousands on Facebook. Testimonials abound from happy and delighted recovered patients and from oncologists who use her methods.

Excellent book! Very engaging

This book is excellent- one of the best books I’ve ever listened to- and I listen to several a week. Her strength- and the information is great- I’m a bio hacker, as I listen in my hyperbaric chamber. I don’t have cancer- but I try to be proactive … I’ve learned a lot about supplements and health. I love Jane and her writing and resolve. Praying for her now- in the name of Jesus.

How is this one different from the first edition?

I bought the first edition of this book on Kindle in 2021, to support my mother in her battle against cancer. I was informed that a second edition had been released so I purchased this on Audible. However, there doesn't seem to be any different or new information, other than in the title. Can someone please let me know if there is in fact any new information in this latest edition?

Little-Known Cancer Options

It is so important that cancer patients have access to information about all known treatments that may help them. Jane McLelland’s research is extensive and she is able to translate her conclusions into terms a layperson can understand.

Title if NOT accurate, Audio book is of Edition1

The concept of Ferroptosis occurs nowhere in the audiobook contents (other than the title), kind of disappointing that it appears in the listing, I think it's a consequence of using the latest Printed Book title for this audio book.

It is very informative YES, it will throw a lot of information at you mixed with her personal story through chapters 1-19 and then focuses nearly entirely on the terminology and details again in Chapters 20-25. If you don't currently watch much online from Functional Medicine Drs on the various pathways like MTOR and other discussions like this you are likely to find the material very Nerdy and Cerebral.

The advantages of the audio book are that you can listen anywhere while doing something, but if your goal is to have clear diagrams of her pathways to block, lists of treatments, a reference of treatments, drugs and compounds with their correct spellings, etc etc then unless you have the mind of a savant you will likely be better served by the printed Updated edition which I presume covers the missing Ferroptosis.

if you get this audiobook and are in a hurry to learn all you can to help yourself or someone you care about, I'd start at Chatper 20 which is where 95% of all the content is for the WHAT , WHY and HOW. Its an 11.5 hours listen and you can cut out all but the most critical final 2 hours if you need to super charge through this material.
