About this listen

The City of Angels is about to be overrun with demons...

He is living proof life can suck. Scraping by paycheck to paycheck, this desperate "nice guy" is hungry for any break. And after John Hunter learns his fiancée is dumping him, his roommate is a vampire, and LA is infested with; werewolves, magic, fairies, and witches, a paid gig to hunt down a rogue chimera seems like his last shot.

Slugging it out under the moonlight with his aggressive new monster-hunting neighbor, John Hunter soon discovers this secret underworld can leave more than a few bruises. But amidst the angels & demons, he’s sure of one thing–he’s about to battle an unspeakable supernatural evil.

Can this underdog finish off a paranormal power before it’s curtains for all?

Enjoy this feel-good, fast-paced box set in the Hunters for Hire urban fantasy series. If you like relentless heroes, coffee-spitting smack-talk, and wiping the floor with otherworldly baddies before dawn, then you’ll love Jonathan Yanez’s non-stop pursuit.

excellent Narration

The story is fun and engaging. The characters feel well written. Best of all is that the Narrator does an excellent job telling the story with voices, and even has some sound editing for voicing non-human characters.

dark humo

The pop and grand pop references, So many humorous things said, and stupid situations presented. If you like humor and poking fun people that are to full of themselves, this is perfect.

a Fun listen

It's a fun group of books. Just FYI, the second book has a repeat loop kind of thing going on. A mis-edit.
