About this listen

Curiosity. It’s going to get more than just the cat killed.

Sacramento has its share of spooky, crazy, and unexplained, just like everywhere else, but most other places don’t have a self-appointed paranormal investigator to really stir things up.

With an oversized sidekick, a school-skipping apprentice, and too many bad habits to count, August aims to drag the truth into the light. Kicking and screaming if necessary.

Between ghostly hauntings, macabre surgeons, and California’s very own vampire menace, the team at Blue Moon have their work cut out and it’s only late into the game they realise there is someone in the background pulling the strings.

One thing is for certain: no one is getting out of this without a fight.

Listen to Blue Moon Sacramento to discover why books from this series have been topping the Supernatural Thriller charts since 2017.

The story line was good, but not as good as the original Blue Moon series. The characters were a bit flat. The narrator took some time to get into the characters.

I am an avid Steve Higgs reader, but this series does not quite measure up to his normal character development.

Entertaining, but not great.

The Daniel Quinn character is tiring and overdone. Move on please. This is too shallow of a formula.

Reluctant Fan

Dear narrator: I hate to do this but I have to comment. I am sure you are fantastic in other performances and I will give you another listen if you perform another book.
BUT:
I had to turn off the book after the teenage girl joined the story. I get it, going for the obnoxious know it all teen character but the voice he used was atrocious. My wife could hear it through my earbuds at low volume and asked me to turn it off or go into the next room. Not hating on you, I tried for as long as I could but could not power through.

Typical Blue Moon Story, narration was off
