About this listen

Dear Remington Parker,

You may think you're the handsome prince of the law firm and I'm your dutiful wench, but I'm not here to be your plaything.

Yes, you're handsome-ish.

Yes, you're a partner at the firm.

Yes, I'm your ugly duckling assistant.

But no, I'm not desperate, and I don't want you.

I have no interest in being the nanny to your newly found kid when you want to go on dates. And I have even less interest in your offer to teach me the ways of the world.

In fact, after my makeover, I'm pretty sure I'll have plenty of men wanting to help me discover the joys of companionship. I do not need your crumbs.

Yours Sincerely,

Juniper Hardman

I just never predicted how Remington Parker would react after he got my email and saw my makeover.

The Voice the narrator uses for Juniper is beyond horrible, it sounds like virtual voice but just for Juniper‘s character, the others are great. If I didn’t know better, I would legitimately think some parts of the story were written by AI. I say that because some of the dialogue just doesn’t make sense in the context it’s being used. This book reminds me of a late 1970s- 80s Harlequin romance with a couple open door sex scenes. Overall I’m not sorry I read it, I did enjoy the story but it’s fluff and not going to win any awards. I’m sorry I spent a credit instead of just reading it on Kindle. I’ll probably read the rest of the series on kindle.

What can I say.
